Great Service The Big Island Honda service department in Kona is closed on the weekends and because I was unable to make it during the week to service my car, I dec The Big Island Honda service department in Kona is closed on the weekends and because I was unable to make it during the week to service my car, I decided to make an appointment in Hilo. I called to make an appointment for Saturday and the person who helped me advised he would send me an email confirmation which I never received. I called on my way into town to tell the service department that I was running a little late and the person who answered asked for my name and said "ok, we see you, no problem, thank you for calling." I get there and upon checking in with Clint, he tells me that my appointment was yesterday? I thought that was strange because I specifically asked for a Saturday appointment and I wasnt told that when I called to let them know I was running late. Clint however was friendly, accommodating, helpful and was able to take my car in. I drove from Waimea and would have been a litttle disappointed to be turned away. Although it took a while for my car to be serviced (got there at 1130am, left at 4pm) I still got great service. It's understandable that there will be days that the crew will be short staffed due to sickness or whatever reason it may be. Mahalo to Clint who was very nice and super helpful and the service technician. I'm happy that my car is running like a boss again :) More

Today I took my vehicle in for a software update and the service personnel were courteous and professional. I did not have an appointment. Even though I was a walk-in, the wait time was only one hour. The management must be very good at Big Island Honda because all the employees make a considerable effort to make you feel acknowledged and welcome. There is something special about Big Island Honda. Big Island Honda makes me feel like they are committed to my long-term satisfaction. More
