I am late in writing this review because I needed to let everything play out from Subaru of America on how they handled things with this very dishonest dealership. I went to this dealership in February und everything play out from Subaru of America on how they handled things with this very dishonest dealership. I went to this dealership in February under the Subaru VIP Program and met with Gary Colfack a Sales Associate. Timmons accepted the VIP Certificate, the Sales Associate took my deposit and placed an order for my car and things couldn't have gone better. I received weekly updates, and finally an email stating that my car was here and that the dealership only needed a few hours to prep it for me to pick it up. About a half hour later I was called by either Rocky or Pete, I don't know because no one can tell the truth there, stating that I couldn't purchase the car from them at the previously agreed up on price and according to the VIP Certificate because the Owner said "that there is a shortage of cars". I have all of the documentation attached to this review, they were in breach of contract as I actually paid a deposit and have a documented Order paper trail as evidence. In short Timmons stole my car from me knowing that they could exorbitantly mark it up and sell it to someone else even though they weren't allocated this car by Subaru of America. I ordered it and gave them a deposit! All this amounts to is GREED. I contacted Subaru of America Customer Service and after a few calls they were convinced that Timmons was a dirty dealership for doing this to me, and that Timmons would not even return their calls over a week of calling them! This should tell you what kind of a dealership you are dealing with. (Stay Away!) I was put in touch with a Regional Sales Manager (Lance Williams) who also agreed that Timmons was dishonest in their dealings. Mr. Williams told me that the Subaru Dealers were franchised businesses and there was really nothing they could do but sanction them by reducing their allotment of cars. I don't know how true that is but they deserve everything they get and then some. I have to say that the Regional Sales Manager Lance Williams did me right, he put me in touch with an honest dealership (Subaru of San Bernardino) who couldn't of been more professional, accommodating and just downright nice. Timmons talks a good talk on their website about treating you right and Family Values, perhaps Timmons should send your Team to Subaru of San Bernardino for mentorship in Customer Service and Leadership Values and maybe your Sales Managers Rocky or Pete whomever that was wouldn't have hung up on me during our conversation about Timmons stealing my car out from under me. This seems to be a prevalent practice with Timmons as I looked at some of the Yelp reviews and found that they did this exact same thing to a long time Subaru customer, this just a sad affair that Timmons represents Subaru of America and their brand name in this fashion. You will see in their negative reviews and how sorry they are that they couldn't sell you a car or cant always make a deal due to certain conditions, DONT BELEIVE THEM!! I came in here for regular oil change and was quoted 2 hours for my wait. Over 2.5 hours later I was still waiting and no one came to tell me the status. When I finally asked, my car had not been worked on and to get the complimentary car wash would take an extra 30 plus minutes. When I approached the service rep, he was full of excuses and not one big apologetic for the wait nor apologetic for not giving me updates. I never had this experience at the service center in Subaru irvine. Will not come back here. More

SELLER BEWARE Timmons provided me with a written quote to purchase my car for $1,975. When I returned 5 days later, they refused to honor their quote. They stated there were mechanical issues but they were not able to provide any details as to what those issues were. In the five days since receiving the quote, the car was not driven except to drive to the dealership. They said that could only offer me $1,500. I had turned down three other offers for $1,500 from dealers much closer to my home because I believed (wrongly) that Timmons would buy my car for $1,975. When I complained, their attitude became very cold and hostile. I was told that they did not need my car and that I could take it or leave it in regard to their revised offer. They then kept me waiting for 2.5 hours before completing the paperwork. I am a senior citizen and it would not surprise me if their standard MO is to take advantage of seniors. More

There was no shady trying to make me buy things that I wouldn't be able to afford, and the process was super smooth! I spent maybe 30 mins tops with the whole thing. Whereas other places have taken hours with me leaving with nothing! Chrissy really went above and beyond and made my experience great. I 100% recommend working with her, because she goes out of her way, to make sure you find what you want and need! More
