Everything was great until we got to the financing part. I connected with Timmons through Costco and I had done my research of interest rates and such so I knew about what I should have been offered. Interestingly enough, come time to do the financing, the interest rate that they started at was 3% higher than the market rate (and I do not have bad credit) which coincidentally would have added $3,000 back to the cost of the car. After playing this game, all of a sudden they were able to drop that rate three percentage points back to the going market rate. This left a bad taste with me and I know that I will never buy from this dealer again. Whether or not I will ever buy another Subaru again is still up for debate. The car itself is fine but I am not enjoying the car, and it is because of the financing experience. More
I had the worst customer service experience of my life at Timmons Subaru this weekend. While my sales associate was kind and professional, my interaction with manager Ratana "RC" Chhor was shockingly unprofe Timmons Subaru this weekend. While my sales associate was kind and professional, my interaction with manager Ratana "RC" Chhor was shockingly unprofessional. I came to purchase a vehicle with a serious offer, a good trade-in, a sizable cash down payment, and an excellent credit score of 845. My goal was to make a fair deal that satisfied both my needs and their sales objectives. To demonstrate my seriousness and willingness to negotiate, I visited Timmons two days in a row and even raised my offer by $1,000 beyond my initial limit. I made it clear I was ready to buy immediately. Despite this, RC made it evident that he wasn’t interested in making the sale, displaying the following unacceptable behaviors: 1. Condescension: He said to me, “You understand this is a business, right? Like, we’re here to make money.” 2. Belittling: He dismissed my offer by saying, “If that’s your number, then you can’t afford this car.” 3. Gaslighting: RC undermined a prior negotiation I had with another manager, Tony, saying, “The deal you had yesterday wasn’t real. He was just trying to get you to commit. You never actually shook on it.” He then raised the price by $1,300, effectively dismissing any previous conversation I had with Tony. 4. Dishonesty: RC claimed, “The car has only been here for 10 days,” when both the website and sales report showed it had been on the lot for 25 days. 5. Insulting: At one point, he remarked, “I’m not in the business of helping you pay for the car.” Ultimately, RC was completely intransigent, letting his pride override reason. He chose to lose the deal entirely rather than compromise to secure a satisfied and loyal customer. My experience was a waste of time, and I am both shocked and deeply disappointed that RC sabotaged the sale simply to “hold the line” on price. After 15 years of being a loyal Subaru owner, it’s disheartening that this is how my relationship with the brand had to end. More

Simmon’s Subaru was very friendly and helpful. I came on a Saturday during their Memorial Day Sale. I had an appointment at 6PM. We weren’t able to complete everything but they were helpful eno I came on a Saturday during their Memorial Day Sale. I had an appointment at 6PM. We weren’t able to complete everything but they were helpful enough to hold my new leased car until Sunday. That allowed me to make my appointment and get documents to complete the deal the next morning. This was my first lease but the whole staff were helpful and low pressure. They offered a one on one training class a few weeks later and it has helped me quite a bit. More
I recently purchased my fourth Subaru from Timmons Subaru of Long Beach. I have loved everyone of my Subarus, especially my last two Forster sports model.
