Edwin Legaspi, the sales guy was very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about what I was looking for. His knowledge of the cars was very helpful. I went with the 2016 Impreza and I couldn't be happier. All the staff I came across, were very friendly and courteous. The whole process was easy and pleasant. My sister leased a car from here as well and was very happy. Would definitely recommend coming to this dealer. More

Their website depicts treatment for HEROES (Military, Police, Fire, Education)” At Timmons Subaru, we believe that the brave men and women who make a difference deserve just a little bit more.” However, this is by far false advertising, the salesperson Mitch spoke to me in detail about the service to our country, and terrorism, giving me the impression he was going to go assist me the best he can in order to try and purchase and or lease a vehicle, yet we spoke once on the phone (31 Dec 15), he told me he would call me back and when I asked if the news was good or bad, he related good, yet, he never returned my call. I made an attempt to call him on 1 Jan 16, in regards to a vehicle, left a detailed message, and he never returned my call, nor an e-mail I sent. I then called and left a message to a sales manager named April, left her a detailed message as well, and never received a call back. I then called on 2 Jan 15, and asked to speak to a General Manager, the reception then asked me what department...I then paused for a moment, and repeated myself, she was lost, she told me a business manager would be in on Monday, I then paused again, shaking my head. I then asked how about a sales manager, she transferred me to an individual who did not give have a name listed on his recording machine, another detailed message left, and again no call back. I just do not understand as to why nobody returned my calls, or followed up with me in regards to the sale or lease of a vehicle, negative news should be treated the same as positive, communicated immediately. I highly do not recommend this dealership. After deploying and fighting for our country in two separate wars, the least someone could do is acknowledge me and return my calls. More

A repair was needed to the drivers window and it needed to be done in one day because the car needed to be parked in a school public lot the next day. I did not realize the repair could be covered under the extended warrantee, however the service advisor did and Mike, the adviser, persevered and repeatedly called the insurance carrier, even after being disconnected after an hour on hold, in order to obtain a $500 insurance rebate. The car was repaired on time and even additional service was accomplished within the limited time frame. More
Timmons Subaru Sales Dept. - NOT service department. Terrible sales department service. I got a flier in the mail from the manager (April) at Timmons Subaru. It is obviously a sales flier and I'm sure that they got my information because I have a Subaru Crosstrek. The flier offers me different incentives and deals to trade in my car. Then on one page of the flier, it offers me a COMPLIMENTARY free oil change if I come in and present the coupon/flier. It doesn't say that I need to take a test drive or purchase a car from them. I called Timmons Subaru and I got a 7 am service appointment. The service department was great. Very nice and helpful. Miguel told me that the sales dept. doesn't open until 8:30. I waited until 8:35 and nobody in sales showed up so I was about to leave. Then Miguel told me that he had called the sales dept. for me and that someone was coming. A sales rep. (Mike I think) walked over from the VW dealership and was very rude. I stood at the sales desk for several minutes before he acknowledged me, then when I showed him the flier, he said that I would need to purchase a car before I got a free oil change. He was so rude and curt that I thought he was joking with me. I even laughed but then I quickly realized that he wasn't. I asked him, you are telling me that I have to purchase a car to get a free oil change? He said yes, why would we give you a free oil change if you were not going to buy something. I was appalled and he said quickly, I'll let you talk to a manager and walked away. He didn't say, I'm sorry but I can't help you with this because I need manager approval or come with me or stay here and I'll get a manager for you. He just said, you need to talk to a manager and walked off. I chased him down and told him to just give me my flier back and said that "I'll make sure that I write this experience up on yelp". He said nothing and went to looking around his desk as if I wasn't even there. Then another manager came by and looked over the flier and said, it says that you need to have a 2001- 2011 Subaru to trade in, which is not true because the flier clearly states that my 2013 Subaru qualifies. So after talking to him, he reluctantly gives me the free oil change. I have had great experiences prior with Subaru sales and service reps and that's why I was so taken aback by this experience. I would never purchase my car here and I now know why people hate dealing with Car Sales Reps. I absolutely regret going to this dealership and I hope to never get any mail from them in the future. It doesn't have to be that way. My experience with Mitch and the rest of the Timmons family was excellent. They were very patient and cooperative. I traded in my 2008 Subaru Tribeca for a 2012 Subaru Legacy. Of course I had some reservations about the amount of my trade. But when you're buying a car, the best advice I can give to you is to look at the entire deal; the bottom line. I got a great deal with Timmons and would strongly encourage you to consider them for your next purchase. Automotive sales professionals are people just like you and I. They have families, they have dreams, and they want to make an honest living. It's a tough gig. I've been there. Hat's off to Timmons for helping rid the world of the negative connotation that comes with buying a new car! More
Save yourself the trouble, and drive out of your way like I did, to Renick Cadlillac Subaru in Fullerton or Puente Hills Subaru in the City of Industry. Natalie, the receptionist at Timmons, is perhaps th I did, to Renick Cadlillac Subaru in Fullerton or Puente Hills Subaru in the City of Industry. Natalie, the receptionist at Timmons, is perhaps the least helpful person I have ever spoken to at any dealership. The service department cannot be reached without waiting on hold, leaving a message, and waiting a day or two for a call back (I tried this 4 times). I had to call them 3 times, and threaten to come down in person and make a scene in their store before Natalie finally transferred me to someone to help me get removed from their mailing list. The jury is out on whether they will actually comply with the law and remove me from their mailing list. UGHHH. I wanted to reach through the phone and strangle someone! If Natalie and the service Mgr are fair representations of the level of service one can expect from Timmons, I wouldn't go there if they were the last car dealership in California! I'm glad I didn't go to Timmons for service; I drove out of my way to the dealership in Fullerton, and they were great! I also had a fantastic experience buying my Subaru at Puente Hills Subaru in the City of Industry, and another great experience with their parts department. Cathy Price at Puente Hills Subaru is my favorite car salesperson yet, and this was my 7th new-car buying experience. She is sweet and nice and treated me very fairly. I would highly recommend buying a car from Cathy! More
This was the last straw..my third and LAST visit there was the worst one yet. The female service advisor has the worst attitude, she is very short with her customers and has no clue what she is doing. I m was the worst one yet. The female service advisor has the worst attitude, she is very short with her customers and has no clue what she is doing. I made an early(7am) appointment for an easy fix, in and out. my car was not moved to the shop till almost an hour; I asked the service advisor to see how long it was going to take and she told me they wont start on your car for another 45 minutes. She could've offered a ride home or reschedule...but no I left. I did give Timmons a chance but every visit there was worse than the previous. Even when I was searching to purchase the car...I ended up been stocked by the sales guy calling me at work and home to come to dealer. This was by far the most pushy sales person I've encountered. I ended up buying the car at another dealer. They even charged me for a job they didn't fix. the reason I went there was bc it was the closest dealer....now I don't mind taking a drive to fullerton for better service. they need to retrain everyone there. I guess I'm use to the cerritos Acura service...EXCELLENT! More
