I had the service done for installation of the chip that controls the heating and cooling of the seats. (At the time the car was manufactured, the chip was not installed due to the global chip shortage.) Wh controls the heating and cooling of the seats. (At the time the car was manufactured, the chip was not installed due to the global chip shortage.) When the chip was available, Texan Buick GMC service department installed the chip in one service appointment. I am very glad to have this done, and the service department did a great job of communication with me. More
Bringing my new car for covered service was very …. .I can’t even think of a word. I got there at 845 for a 9am appt and was unsure as to which lane I needed to be in. Sat for 10-15 min in a lane that s .I can’t even think of a word. I got there at 845 for a 9am appt and was unsure as to which lane I needed to be in. Sat for 10-15 min in a lane that said “appointments express lane”, which since I had an appointment seemed the most logical place to be. When nobody was coming to ask me anything, I called the service dept to see if I was in the correct lane for an appt I was told yes just wait there. When someone finally got up and walked over to my car they said I needed to be in another lane so at this direction I moved my car over a lane. Sat there another 10 min, employees walking all around looking at me nobody and came to check me in and now, already late for the 9am appt. A girl who had been there the entire time finally came to see what I needed. She told me I needed to go inside to let them know I was there. Ok. Finally got checked in by 915 or so. Overheard them tell another customer the shop closed at 11 and everyone went to lunch. Lo and behold, my car was finally ready by 11. I was there for an oil change. Other than a feee service I can’t see wanting to come back here. I really had to pack my patience that morning. I do need to come back for a microchip that was not available when I purchased the car and I am dreading that. They have already said they need the car for 2 days. 2 DAYS? Not looking forward to that. Who can put their life on hold for 2 days with no car in a large city for something that should have been included in the car to begin with? , More
