My experience with this purchase was the best I have had in my auto purchasing history. Yesterday, I purchased a new 2014 Ford Fusion from Ted Britt Ford in Fairfax, and every step in the process was efficient and pleasant, which are two words I don't ordinarily associate with a car buying e Britt Ford in Fairfax, and every step in the process was efficient and pleasant, which are two words I don't ordinarily associate with a car buying experience. I began, as many people do these days, by seeking email quotes from several dealerships. Aaron Klaber was the person who responded for Ted Britt, and he was extraordinarily responsive and quickly gave me a very good price on a vehicle that was the best I received in my internet communications. Once I went to the dealership, Karwan Zewer took care of me. Because I also wanted my wife to see the car, we brought our two children (ages 3 and 4), and everyone at the dealership made them feel welcome. (As anyone with young children knows, this is the quickest way to a parent's heart.) Ted Britt had a large inventory and had the exact car I wanted on another lot. They gave me a very good price, and I really enjoyed Karwan, who is a nice, earnest, respectful guy, and made the whole process enjoyable. I can't believe I am going to write the next line. I also enjoyed my time with the finance manager, which was unexpected. Linda Lafontaine not only is knowledgeable and efficient (I have never seen someone both fly through paperwork while making sure you are fully informed and not rushing you as you read through anything you want), but also has an infectious enthusiasm. In short, I walked into the dealership as someone who had done his homework and expected to get a fair deal. I walked out surprised and grateful that I had such an enjoyable time doing it. This dealership is amazing!! Every employee I dealt with was determined to make my experience productive and satisfying me and my wife. The sales rep Al Alqaisi was phenomenally knowledgeable. He knew eve was determined to make my experience productive and satisfying me and my wife. The sales rep Al Alqaisi was phenomenally knowledgeable. He knew everything about the car we were interested in from engine capability to options and even colors available--without refering to notes or a computer. Al also knew his inventory very well which made a HUGE difference as the day we went was cold and miserable so wandering a lot would have been awful. To our own needs as people, not just customers, he helpful at every step of our trip there. Al listened attentively to our questions and concerns and was also profoundly helpful with suggestions about the cars available and advantages of various options. He showed us each example and gave us excellent examples of what to expect with that item/engine/detail. When it came time to talk price the offer/counteroffer phase was done professionally and courteously. Some places do the stereotypical posture that the customer is trying to steal from them (what a crock!) and I walk away. The approach from Al was my offer was in the best interest of my finances and he was responsible to be fair to his employer. One of the fabled "let me check with my sales manager" was all it took and we came to a price that was equitable. In about 5 minutes. No delays wasting my time. Financing was a similar example of how to run a professional business. Linda treated us as knowledgeable consumers and laid out the options in clear terms and addressed any questions in easy-to-understand terms. A real joy to work with and never made us feel rushed or allowed any confusion. Then Jennifer got us set up in the car and explained use of each of the (rather complex) features. Jennifer made it all seem so easy, put everything in such a concise manner that we felt entirely comfortable with our car before the wheels even moved. In summary, I came into this dealership simply to see if my 6'6" body fit in a Fusion with a moonroof. Al let me check that out and then asked very attentively about any other questions we had concerning a Fusion or other Ford products. Since he was knowledgable and ready with information we asked some more questions. And drove away in a new car. Came in for a curiosity sit down in the room, drove away a buyer. Like a salesman's dream, huh?. BOTTOM LINE: you've got great people that show enthusiasm to help the customer not a zeal to squeeze a buck out of them. And I'm telling everybody I know "go to Ted Britt Ford in Fairfax, they've got the best salesman, finance rep, and customer service that I've ever seen in 26 years of buying cars." More

He completely destroyed any negative notion one could have about a "car salesman"! I will recommend him to anyone I know who is interested in buying a car! Linda is incredibly competent in her position; however, what puts here over-the-top in service is her empathy and ability to make the nervous buyer feel secure in the buying process. Boy, can she manage crisis! If I could clone her 10 times I could start my own airline! Andy never let's you see him sweat! He is congenial and positively persuasive in helping to get the purchaser to see herself in a new car. I walked into the dealership seeing myself in a used car; however, Andy showed me the error of my ways and I am now the owner of a new vehicle! Jennifer is a great communicator, a very good trainer, and a very nice person to help, along with the team of Marcus, Linda and Andy, to take the fear out of the car buying experience. I know it isn't rocket science, but buying a car after many years of being in prehistoric times (without updated automation et al) can be stressful--this gal made it all look easy and, now, it IS easy!
