Focus SE Sport for daughter So, we have been shopping for a car for our 18 year old daughter. She lives about 5 hours away and needs transportation for senior year of HS, college So, we have been shopping for a car for our 18 year old daughter. She lives about 5 hours away and needs transportation for senior year of HS, college and beyond. She works part-time and drives to school. We drove the top picks in class which in our opinion are Corolla, Focus and Civic. Our daughter gave her feedback and then it became a budget, finance rate and dealer program & staff advantage choice. I have driven imports since 1987, but all along keep trying the Detroit brands hoping for an overwhelming victory. This time Ford won out! Kids want that sporty look and parents want safe, reliable transportation for their kids. We looked at this purchase as a 7 year investment and decided Focus gave us the absolute best mix for the budget and peace of mind knowing our daughter would not be stranded on the side of the road. We are not warranty people normally, but this time we went with environmental protection, extended service contract and pre-paid maintenance for a 7 year period. When 0.0% financing is available...it made the decision a "no brainier". No calls at night with a frantic kid on the other end needing $3200 for a dropped transmission! Why Ted Britt Ford in Fairfax? It's the staff. Mitch our sales consultant, Nate in customer service and Linda in finance created a long term plan for our daughters vehicle that gave us a fixed bottom line cost per month. Predictable transportation cost locked in for 7 years for my wife and I, head turning style and function for our daughter. Those of us old enough will remember the phrase "have you driven a Ford lately?". We did and Ford has said 'game on' to Toyota and Honda! Why not a used car or certified pre-owned? The current finance rates are to good on the new side to pass up. Financially a better decision and the new car safety systems balance out the insurance cost. More

Surprisingly the team that I worked with were just like one big family. Although I was tired from work, I was intrigued with the Ford Escape and the awesome Customer Service Experience that I received from Michael Havey. He had me so intrigued that I forgot how tired I was. His pleasant demeanor made everything roll very smoothly. Linda Lafontaine is a pure gem and very knowledgeable about everything Finance....all dealerships should have a person that doesn't make the Finance portion of your experience feel like 'bad place to be' waiting for someone to take advantage of you. All of the staff that I encountered (Linda, Alison, Kathy and Michael) were A+++++. More

Good experience, would buy another truck from Mitch Sulkess I purchased a New Factory Ordered 2015 F150 XLT. I knew exactly what I wanted and decided that if I was spending as much money as I was, I might as w I purchased a New Factory Ordered 2015 F150 XLT. I knew exactly what I wanted and decided that if I was spending as much money as I was, I might as well get exactly what I wanted. We initially had quite a bit of difficulty with the dealership. We would schedule appointments just to come in and find that they had scheduled 5 other people at the exact same time. We a good 45 minutes waiting after we test drove a similar 2015 F150 to what I wanted to order. We ended up leaving as we had not been helped. We repeated this process probably 4 times before we just scrapped all of the work we had done to that point, walked in to the dealership fresh and were immediately helped by Mitch Sulkess. Thank God he helped us and we were lucky that he was the one who helped us! Mitch Sulkess was AWESOME throughout the process. He was not pushing unnecessary accessories, add-ons, features that I really didn't need. He kept my budget as his top priority. I usually do all of my research and then some. In the past, I have had poor experiences with dealers that think you're too smart of a customer, and just decide NOT to do business with you. Mitch was amazing. He took our research and prices and went directly to the manager with it. We came very close to the price that I had wanted to get down to and was happy with where we ended. After we had ordered the truck, Mitch was sure to keep us updated multiple times throughout the week on the status of the truck throughout the build process, with both emails and texts. He kept that up for about the 6-8 weeks that it took to build. I was VERY impressed! During the pickup process, Mitch was great in making sure the truck was detailed and that there were no dealer stickers on the back of the truck (my specification that there was no stickers on the fresh paint). Mitch met and exceeded all of our needs and expectations. I would definitely recommend him for any bonuses or awards after the experience that we had with him. We will definitely purchase another vehicle from him in the future! We will be recommending Mitch to any family and friends that are in need of a new vehicle! More

He's always been honest in sharing how money down and lease length will affect monthly payments, and has offered his opinion on the best option for us. The after-market and finance folks were friendly, outgoing and not al all "pushy." Combine this team with Ford's fabulous 2015 Edge (or Escape, which we also test-drove) and you get a great overall experience. More
