Getting the run-around I purchased two used vehicles at the Fairfax location in 2015. Car #1:Chrysler Town & Country bought in March 2015. I purchased a Power Train Warrant I purchased two used vehicles at the Fairfax location in 2015. Car #1:Chrysler Town & Country bought in March 2015. I purchased a Power Train Warranty with this vehicle. In April 2016, the vehicle would not start. I contacted several people who eventually told me that I have to go to a Chrysler dealership. I was told that the 60 month warranty ran out. I asked how could this be if I had not owned the car that long and was advised that it was 60 months from the date of the original sale to the original owner...when it was first bought as new. Car #2:Ford Edge bought October 2015. I purchased a regular warranty with this vehicle. When looking for this car, the salesman "called" someone to see if they could bring it around for us to look at. He told us that someone was testing driving it and checking the A/C. Whenever I would put the front defrost on, the car would make a weird noise during acceleration. I called the service department (Quick Lanes) and was told that was normal...nothing to worry about. In May 2016, for the first time since the purchase, I turned on the A/C on a hot day and noticed that it was blowing out warm air unless my foot was on the gas pedal. I called and was told my warranty may or may not cover the issue depending on what it is. I contacted a local mechanic that has done work on past vehicles that I've owned. There, I was told that it was the compressor and it could cost around $800-$1300 depending on whether or not I bought a new or used one. I called the dealership again to inquire about both warranties this time. I was told by a Service Manager by the name of Mike that he would have to speak to the Sales Department and would call me back later in the day. It's been 11 days. Now, when I call...I keep getting put in voice mail. I feel like I may have been sold lemons both times and plan on contacting my attorney to see what my options are. Today, I left a voice mail for Evelyn who is supposed to be the General Manager...we will see how long it takes for someone to contact me, as I had to call her for paint damage on the Edge that I was promised would be taken care of if I brought the car back on the Monday after I purchased it; only to be told that I had to pay. She never called me back, but had the salesman call me telling me they would take care of this issue. I wonder what will happen this time. I am so disappointed, as I had nothing but great service from Gary Funk in the Service Department when he worked there with another vehicle of mine. I will never purchase another vehicle from Tedd Britt in Fairfax again. More

Good deal, poor service Starting with the good. Got a fair deal on my vehicle in my opinion. The bad, I came in with check in hand and they still hit my credit with a har Starting with the good. Even though each rep and finance person assured me they would not run the credit it was just for "in house purposes." Great job following through with your word... 2. sales associate stated brakes and rotors were done in the last few days which was why they were asking more for the vehicle than before. Rotors were machined not new and when one brake pad 9/32" and another is 6/32" seems like mechanic isn't capable of performing job which is probably why they offer ted britt for life. Takes a life time to complete one job?? 3. Was told tags would be in the mail in a few days. When I inquired about different state inspection they said it was covered. 2 weeks later get a letter in the mail that I would not receive tags until I completed my state's inspection and mail it to them. Still waiting on them 2 weeks later... So overall I can say I was happy with price of vehicle. Service was substantially below par. I hope for their sake they were just lying because if they are that inept I'm embarrassed for them. To sum this up, another quote from the salesman "We offer Ted Britt for life but we don't actually want you to take advantage of it." Don't worry, I would not dream of subjecting myself to the "stellar service" you all provide ever again. More
Fantastic customer service! I visited Ted Britt Fairfax about a month before purchasing my new Ford Edge. I wasn't 100% sure I was ready to purchase the vehicle yet so I left and I visited Ted Britt Fairfax about a month before purchasing my new Ford Edge. I wasn't 100% sure I was ready to purchase the vehicle yet so I left and did some more research. During my research, an internet sales associate (Mohammed) helped me by looking for the exact car I wanted both online and in physical lots. He was incredibly responsive to my text messages and was very helpful. I went back to the dealership to take a look at some options and was connected with AJ. He was phenomenal and was a joy to work with. I ended up purchasing my car that evening and I was at the dealership until 11 at night. AJ stayed with me the entire time and even transferred most of what was in my previous car (which was an incredible amount of stuff) to my new car. Both Mohammed and AJ have been very responsive to my questions after the purchase and are still very helpful. I highly recommend this dealership! More

We called about a Porsche 911 that had just been listed on AutoTrader and we agreed to purchase it from out of town with both an oral agreement and via text. We received no calls back and upon following up were told the car had been sold. The salesman, Howard, gave some bogus excuse that "it was setup before we had figured numbers". This is not true! We called, got management approval for the price, and offered to send a deposit immediately. I guarantee they struck a better deal with someone and left us out in the cold. Out of town buyers beware! More
