Bought a 2020 GMC Denali with 18400 miles on it. It broke down after 400 miles, 8days. It was towed to GM service center in Anchorage. Was unhappy they took 2 days for the work. It wasn't the 2 days, it was the fact when I checked in the car they said NOTHING about keeping the car more than a day. Nothing. Swickard is typically very good to deal with other than their exorbitant high labor rates which mostly goes to the dealership not the mechanics, but they have a responsibility to their customers to set expectations and they did NOT. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change for 9 am. The oil change was not finished until about 2:30 pm. I called to check on the status of the car several times between noon at 1:15. Every time, I was told, “they’re working on your car right now!” One excuse I was given for the long wait was that the shop was “really busy because there are a lot of walk-ins” I’m not sure why Swickard bothers to schedule appointments if they don’t honor the times, or if walk ins apparently take precedence. When I spoke to the manager before leaving, he was rude and frankly condescending. Literally the most ridiculous oil change experience I’ve ever had. More
