Drive to Denver for your Service ! I am another that wished I had read the reviews prior to taking our F-150 for its first service. We try to keep our business local for all the right I am another that wished I had read the reviews prior to taking our F-150 for its first service. We try to keep our business local for all the right reasons but this is one "local business" I won't give my money to. It started off ok till I asked just exactly what the service included. The reply was " oil change and check your fluids...... Oh, Check filters ? yea.... ok... Be about an hour. Ok Go to the waiting area that has music so loud you can't hear the TV.. ok.. I like music.. but so loud... not one customer came in while I was there. I asked if they had bottled water after about 45 min and the guy says " We has fountain"... oh.. ok.. Hour and 30 min go by and they still have not come to tell me my truck is done.. So I go over to the service department and notice the truck is out where I left it and completely covered in snow.. weird did they forget me ?? I ask the guy and the other younger kid says oh yea here ya go... and hands him the keys... just then a lady comes in and says Where is my car? the kid says " its out there somewhere.." the lady says well I can't find it .. I will be waiting outside for someone to help me.. neither one goes out to help her!! I pay for my service and the guy does not even tell me if everything is ok or I needed something just hands me the keys ! Ok !! So my guess is that the truck had been done for quite some time due to the amount of snow that had accumulate WONT EVER GO BACK !!!! I don't know how they stay in business !!! More

It costs money to tow and you need repairs to your car so Summit Ford takes advantage and overcharge you. Buyer beware.... I had my car moved to Vista down the street and paid much less for the same repairs. It's too bad. If they had been nicer to me, I probably would have just paid it, but Duane and Cody were consistently rude and argumentative with me. All the employee's I saw there looked miserable. It seems like a hostile work environment I overheard someone berating another employee, and two others were swearing and talking s**t in front of me and other customers, how professional! We recently moved to the area and would have had reason to keep coming back, but their lack of customer service and terrible attitudes have me running the other way. Not only did they lose our business for this service, but any service in the future. More

They don't expect to be able to fix i Brakes went out in 2015 F150 Platinum 12 hours from home. The truck was towed to Summit Ford Wednesday morning. They don't expect to be able to fix it until the following week. When I told them we had to leave for home prior to that they suggested I rent a car, drive home 12 hours, drive back when it is ready and then drive back home another 12 hours. More
The worst service shop in the Colorado mountains, tried selling my wife a new tire on a new car that had only 9,000 mile on the tire that had a small nail in it. xxxx NO would i recommend this place to anyone...not even the devil himself....my family and i are on a road trip traveling from Chicago to Las Vegas trying to get home and our radiator hose started leaking. the devil himself....my family and i are on a road trip traveling from Chicago to Las Vegas trying to get home and our radiator hose started leaking. We searched on the internet for Ford dealerships and the closest one was yours.... We got there first thing in the morning, had to wait because the service department was not open yet, as soon as they opened we went in, asked the service manager if they could take a quick look at the problem, he said there was only 1 mechanic and they were too busy and we would have to wait till Monday and turned us away and told us to try another dealership or auto repair shop (all of which are closed on Saturdays) even though we have a Ford truck (which everyone in my family owns one and has had since we were able to start driving!) We have never been treated so poorly in our lives by a Ford dealership... So long story short we went to the Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership down the road, they weren't open yet but they invited us in even with our dog, offered us food, coffee and to even drive us somewhere while we wait till the mechanic got in to take a look at the problem......now that's QUALITY service, unlike u you guys, thank you have a nice day :) 1/26/13 at 9:15am More
Clint worked with me every step of the way through the repair (which took a couple of twists and turns). He was friendly, courteous, took the time to answer my questions, address my concerns, and worked repair (which took a couple of twists and turns). He was friendly, courteous, took the time to answer my questions, address my concerns, and worked with me to coordinate the logistics of my travel (back and forth to Leadville ~30 miles away). The diagnosis of the problem was quick. During the vehicle inspection the Power Transmission Unit (PTU; which drives the back wheels in an all wheel drive Escape) was indentified as having failed. In addition there were other recommendations about service that should be performed; mostly flushing lubricants and fluids in many of the car's systems (transmission, differntial, brakes), because the lubricants showed evidence of being burnt. The service approved at that time was to replace the PTU. The replacement of fluids was initially declined. I drove my car home and waited for the parts to come in. When the replacement PTU came in, Clint called and worked with me to make an early morning appointment so that the repair could be made in one day while I waited. While the repair was in progress, other parts were found to be broken or of such concern that it was strongly recommended to install new rather than re-use an old part. I was shown all the broken parts and areas of concern. Also, the technician explained that the failure of the PTU was from the lubricant inside being burnt and showed me the evidence of that. Replacing the additional parts was approved. This resulted in my car needing to stay overnight. Clint arranged for my transportation back and forth to Leadville (at no cost to me). After getting back home that afternoon and thinking about the burnt fluid that caused the PTU damage, I called Clint and asked if, by the end of the next day, all the fluids and lubricants showing indication of being burnt could be changed as initially recommended, in addition to the PTU being replaced. He said yes and got those items on the service list. All the service was performed and I got the car back the next day. I feel the service dept. was looking out for my best interest, and the best interest of the car. I am very satisfied with the service I got from Clint and Summit Ford. More

The guys in the servic I work for a company with many fleet vehciles and we take all our vehicles to Summit Ford, many of them are GMC/Chevy modles. The guys in the service department especially Troy and Clint(also JR in the past), have been fantastic. Perfessional, kind and very helpful. Real "Gentelmen"! My personal vehicles are GMC modles and I still take it to Summit Ford for service, and there is a GMC dealer only one mile away. I think this speaks volumes for your staff. You are very lucky to have such dedicated employees. As a department head I struggle every day to find qualified staff. I would love to have staff members like Troy and clint on my team!
