The main reason that I continue to buy Ford's is because of the service department at Summit Ford. I've been dealing with them since 2003 and they have always been great to deal with. Mark in sales has always been helpful, even when I was there just for service. After breaking down in Frisco with my F350, I took my truck to Summit Ford,(I lived in Breckenridge for 14 years and have dealt with Summit Ford in the past) to find out what was wrong and how much. The next day I was told that it would be about $5,300 to replace 4 injectors, turbo, and serpertine belt. I then checked with other dealers in Denver what they would charge and called Summit Ford back and said that I would have the truck towed to Denver to have it fixed. Without hesitation, the service personnel lowered the price to $4,000. Is this overcharging the customer since they are the only Ford dealer in Summit county? If you can, have your car fixed elsewhere. Also I was only 2 weeks out of warranty, the Denver Dealers said that they would have worked with me to have Ford cover some or all of the work under warranty, Summit Ford did not. More

I have researched for months to decide which small suv to purchase. I knew nothing about Summit Ford, but wanted to try a local dealership. BJ Psenda called me immediately upon my internet inquiry and was to purchase. I knew nothing about Summit Ford, but wanted to try a local dealership. BJ Psenda called me immediately upon my internet inquiry and was positive, informative, NOT PUSHY, and answered all of my questions as to reviews that I have read about the Ford Escape as compared to other small suv vehicles. I actually went to drive a used Ford Escape and told BJ that I was also looking at the Subaru Forester. He explained important differences honestly. I ended up buying a new Ford Escape, but BJ did not pressure me in the least. I decided upon the 4 cylinder rather than the 6 after seeing how well it pulled up our mountain interstate. I especially like SUmmit Ford's "no haggling" philosophy, it is less stressful and I believe I purchased a quality car at a fair price. My new care was beautifully clean upon pickup and BJ was very patient and helpful in explaining all of the technologically advanced details about my car. THis is my first Ford, so I am looking forward to enjoying learning about my Escape. I am also looking forward to working with the service department on my vehicle maintenance, because I feel that Summit Ford must hire personnel with integrity and character in all aspects of their dealership.
