I bought a '07 Ford Focus from Singh Auto World (of Allentown) for several thousand under what other dealers were charging for a comparable car, with over 40K miles on the odometer. Despite a few minor issues, the whole experience was pretty pleasant. When we arrived at their lot in Bethlehem, the windshield had just been replaced after some freak mishap with the hood and the wiper arms. Undeterred we took it for a test drive. My wife commented that it drove like a rental--and it even still had that "new" smell. The main issue was something, that I discovered after some research, has been a design problem with the Focus hatchback model in particular. It seems the locking mechanism rubber grommet and key insertion retraction plate aren't as hardy as they could be, if any part of the mechanism fails, and it seems to have came off in transit from the lot. Since they primarily deal with auctions, the car could have had faulty mechanism from the get-go. Our salesman, Carl, was very helpful and guided us through having the lock repaired, and was prompt in paying us for those repairs. Over all, Carl was very courteous and knowledgeable. He answered our every question with a professional candor, and did not belittle our inquiries, as he seemed to have a sense of the anxiety that can accompany such a major purchase. He secured us a great financing rate, and had the car delivered spic-and-span, and ready to roll (that is, other than the unforeseeable thing with the hatch door look cover), once the paper were signed. When i went to the dealership, i didnt expect to see so many nice cars. A sales person came up to me and introduced himself as Joey and asked if there was anything he can help me with. I told him i was just looking around, and i seen a car online that i was interested in. He asked me what car it was, what year, and how many miles it had on it. He asked if i wanted to drive the vehicle, i said yes, and he got me the keys and me and my uncle took the car for a test drive. After that, i knew that it was the car that i wanted. I also looked at a few other cars and Joey was patient and polite with me. He said if i wanted to drive anything else, i was more than welcome to. I liked his personality as a sales person because he seemed like he was there to help me find a car, not just sell me a car. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and polite. They offered us food, drinks, etc. It just seemed so family orientated. I would recommend this dealership to all my friends and family. When I first arrived, I was greeted by many employees who were very polite. I ended up working with Carl, he helped me tremendously by finding me a car in my price range with low miles, economical on gas, and stylish for someone my age. He was extremely sincere with telling me which cars were best for me and which makes and models I shouldn't even look at. I enjoyed walking around the lot and seeing the different varieties of vehicles they have. I would strongly suggest people to buy their cars from this dealership. When I graduate and eventually get a new car, I will be sure to go back and do my business with Carl. My mother was also very thankful for his concern that I get the best car for my money.
