Show Low Ford Service dept does it's job well I made the appt using my Ford Pass app on my phone. I was early for the appt, but they took my truck in anyway. Since they had to do a recall check I made the appt using my Ford Pass app on my phone. I was early for the appt, but they took my truck in anyway. Since they had to do a recall check as well as the oil change I requested it took longer than the 45 minutes it normally takes for the oil change. The service writer gave me a time window and was spot on when it came time to retrieve my truck. They went over the vehicle inspection and the work they had performed with me. The cost was exactly what they had said it would be and everything was as it should have been. This is why I've been using Show Low Ford for all of my trucks service needs for many years. More

Went in on Thursday morning asked for an oil change. Martin said that they couldn't fit me in today but tomorrow was open. I scheduled oil change for 11:00 am. Showed up at 10:45 the following day and the service writer said I was scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 am. She further said they could probably fit me in but would not meet the 45min. guarantee. More like 1.5 to 2 hours. I admit I was pretty upset as I planned my day around this appointment. Finally I said I would be back tomorrow because I'm not waiting 2 hours. Returned the following day at 10:45am and Martin could not find the paperwork for my oil change. He said not to worry I was in there. I waited till 11:55 when Martin approached to discuss the multi-point inspection. I asked about the wait time and he said 1 hour. Again this was different than I was told the previous day. After our discussion of the inspection I went into talk to the owner and explained my position, which is this. If your going to make a statement about a time limit and guarantee that time limit then do it. I explained the back story to Guy Hatch(owner) and asked him to talk to his employees. First about the screw up on the day and second about the time limit. I also iterated that I did not want anyone to get in trouble. Just do a better job. If your going to guarantee something then follow through. More
