You will never see such a dingy service area in any modern dealership. Came in for a tune up, left with a ruined vehicle. Then came the high pressure sales tactics: "if you make the deal TODAY, here's what we'll do for you." Would not give me said deal in writing because "printer not working." Appalling that they would not better remedy the disastrous experience we had. Avoid at all costs More

I live in Saratoga Springs, NY I found a truck on their website that I was interested in. I made several phone calls and emails back and forth. We worked out a deal, I emailed all paperwork to them and the financing was taken care of also. We agreed a time and day for me to come over and do the trade. I left my house at 5:30 am and made the 4hr. drive. After I got there and spent about an hour and a half the owner explained to me they made a mistake, they thought (after running my VIN number to see all the specs and options on my trade in) that my truck was diesel not gas, and for me to make the trade it would cost me an additional $4500.00. So after cleaning all my belongings out of my truck taking a day off work spending the gas money and driving 4 hours each way there's nothing they would do for me. They didn't even offer to pay for the gas after admitting it was their mistake. Also the liquidation sale price that's listed on the used vehicles on their website has a $3000.00 down payment in the description that's not noticeable until you read everything. I will never go there again and I'll advise anybody I know NOT to do business there. More

He told them that he wanted cloth seats, and they assured him that once the van came in, the vinyl could be changed to cloth as an after-market purchase. But guess what? It turned out to be impossible. The owner of the dealership told us that there was no way that could happen, so then we asked if the entire seat could be changed, and we were told that that was also impossible. Apparently, the salesman who made these promises is no longer working there, whether it was a result of his lies to us or some other issue, we do not know. But it was obvious that he made promises that were not ever able to be kept in order to make the sale. So we are stuck with a van that my husband loves, but I cannot sit in it for very long without exacerbating my already tortured back issues. I have trouble believing that a supposedly nice local business which we are trying to support would sell such an expensive vehicle under false pretenses just in the name of making a sale. More

Driving by there I saw the exact vehicle my wife wanted . A 2016 Ford (Base) Explorer, Oxford White. I stopped in quickly advise them that I was just looking. etc. I met John Vigneri, the General Manager. It was a busy Saturday and we started talking. He thoroughly answered some questions I had regarding an extended service plan I had purchased from the other Ford Dealer that was never addressed. We chatted for at least twenty to thirty minutes as I had worked for a similar business and had questions in general. I also met Josh Burke, the Sales Manager and he also was pleasant, courteous and did not try to "hard sell" me etc. After I left there that moment I knew I wanted to purchase the vehicle from them. I subsequently made an appointment with Lauren Schiedel for the following Tuesday. When I arrived I asked if the dealer principal (owner) was available to speak to me. Without hesitation he met with me. I had some general questions about the business environment, and industry changes since I had worked as a Controller/Office Mgr. about fourteen years ago. I then met with Lauren Schiedel internet manager and we proceeded to discuss the vehicle that I wanted for my wife. She was also professional, courteous, knowledgeable and again no "hard sell." I wanted to take my time and she was very patient. Josh the sales manager offered me a very competitive price on the 2016 Explorer and various purchase options. John V. the general manager appraised our 2011 Explorer and offered a very fair trade allowance. I then met with Guy French the F&I Manager. (financing and extended warranty) . What can I say, he is a great Guy ! We discussed financing options based on the purchase price and trade allowance. I knew where I wanted to be payment wise and we finalized the deal !! I felt like I knew these people for years. We came back the following Tuesday and finalized the transaction. Lauren again was very patient and extremely knowledgeable. She helped my wife set up her I phone so she could use it through the vehicle. I also met Christine and Paul while I was first there and they were also very friendly and nice to meet. We drove past two other closer Ford dealerships and Saybrook Ford has a new customer for life ! I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle. I also had called the service department prior to purchasing to see how they would handle my questions etc. I spoke to Paul in service and he answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed as most service departments make you feel. I even told him I was not a customer of Saybrook Ford and he treated me as if I was for years. Again extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. My wife could not be any happier with her new 2016 Ford Explorer. More
