Otherwise they were friendly, very accessible and responsive to questions with prompt replies to texts etc. They also worked hard to make the numbers work for me with solid trade in offers and strategizing to maximize rebates. Would absolutely recommend Sean, Geoff and his team. Cannot yet comment on service department since I have only had my car a few days. Thanks again Saybrook Ford! More

Be aware of ur car loaners because I thought mine was perfect and they claimed I dented . De dente could only be seeing by far away from the vehicle. When I tried to fight the claim they told me they paid good attention to details. Soon as I got home I realized the mirror that was supposed to be done in my estimate wasn't done. So not so great at details as they claimed. When I went back they offered several choices to pay the loaners debt I didn't do, including lowering my deposit fee if they claimed with my insurance what made me feel even more uncomfortable since I couldn't prove I didn't dent it. We ended up settling for the debt in the loaner. I complained to Safeco be aware ur insurance is not looking out for u when they recommend u do ur service with the company that does the estimate. I don't recommend this place to anyone and their service was deceiving and extremely rude. I hope the rude lady linda realizes she is dealing with people who are all ready dealing with an accident and becomes sensitive to that fact when she opens her mouth to talk to us . I hope she fixes her behavior.. very bad very bad! More

Liars Wasted My Time Ordered a loaded F150 Lariat from these folks in mid-April. Two months later, my vehicle still wasn't capable of being tracked through Fords Tracking Ordered a loaded F150 Lariat from these folks in mid-April. Two months later, my vehicle still wasn't capable of being tracked through Fords Tracking System. I went down to the dealer and the salesperson said my truck was being built and had priority 1 (highest). Seeing it was being built, I asked for the VIN number but they could not produced and then told me the truck was in order processing. When I returned home from the dealer, I called Ford Customer Care who told me the truck wasn't going to get built as they were through building this model for 2017 and would be four more months for . Went back down to the dealer and spoke to the Sales Manager who confirmed it wasn't being built and switched from priority 1 to 10 weeks ago. If I hadn't pressed, I'd STILL be waiting here for news of my trucks arrival. Liars! More
Disappointing My wife and I went to store and bought a used truck (2005 Dodge Dakota) with 111,000 miles on Thursday night. At the time we were happy with the deal My wife and I went to store and bought a used truck (2005 Dodge Dakota) with 111,000 miles on Thursday night. At the time we were happy with the dealership, the salesperson(s) and the truck. We drove it to NH that evening. The next evening, Friday, (about 24 hours after purchase) we were driving in NH and the check engine light came on. On Saturday I took the vehicle to the Dodge dealer in NH. They analyzed the engine code and placed the car on a lift where we discovered leaks in the exhaust manifold and patching cement that had broken off. We left the vehicle in NH and rented a car to return home to CT while the approximately $2,000 worth of repairs are performed. I understand that some events can happen at anytime however it seemed very suspicious that an engine light would come on less than 24 hours after purchase of the vehicle - especially since I have read that resetting this light is a behavior that some dealerships will do just to move the vehicle. I don't know of the ethical status of this dealership and I will leave it to others to determine. What is even more disappointing is that our e-mails on Sunday and Monday early morning were never even acknowledged as of late Tuesday evening. Very sad. More

I usually dread walking into a car dealer because I hate the hounding you get from the sales people. But this didn’t happen at Saybrook Ford. Doug & Kara were interested in working with me to locate the exact Escape I was looking for and travel 120 miles one way to get it .Then when “wheeling and dealing”, I never felt like they were trying to give me a “snow job”. Everything was open and up front. Also thank you Anthony for teaching us all about the Escape inner workings. More
