Steve Sansone made the expierence very enjoyable for a number of reasons. Being a first time car buyer I had little knowledge about what was needed in order to purchase a vehicle. Steve walked me through every step explaining how things would work, opening up many options for me so I had a bunch of choices suited to my preferred budget. He wanted me to be comfortable as a buyer and he also asked me what I was comfortable with financially, which made me feel secure that I was getting a vehicle that I loved but also that i could afford payments on. I would definitely recommend this dealership and specifically Steve Sansone because he is very professional and cares about every customer that walks in the door. For first time car buyers or not, Sansone Mazda will give you the best car buying expierence you will ever have. More
i felt that i never had 5 minutes with out dealer.he promised me that he would take my sound system out of my car all i had to do was just pick it up the next day.when i went back the next day to pick u promised me that he would take my sound system out of my car all i had to do was just pick it up the next day.when i went back the next day to pick up my system he said that i had to pay to get it out.He also promised he would have my other key the next day and that also didnt happen i had to call and fight with the the deal on labor day which it today after 2 weeks i got the car i got the key.until this day i dont know what my car does and i dont have none of my original stuff from my old car. i was looking to buy another car in 6 months but i swaer i will never buy a car from sansone auto in my life i will tell all of my family and friends to never go there sorry. and dont ever see jim jones he is a crook and he will promise you things and never will do it for you crooks.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! got a quote from truecar.com for a new 2013 Mazda 3 from this dealer. The offer came from Alicia. Then spoke with an employee called Keisha at least 3 times over the phone. Told her CLEARLY I need standard options, manufacturer installed, no extras. She confirmed: the quote is firm plus there will be a NJ sales tax plus plate change ($150) and document fee ($379) for a liquid silver or dolphin grey color. The document fee is 'negotiable' but I would need to negotiate in person. Fine. Drove to the dealership, Keisha not there. A different guy assigned to me offered me dolphin grey, 'the only color for that price'. I saw him jumping the car, bc it has been on the lot for a while and the battery gave out. I asked if they could honor the liquid silver color commitment - no they wouldn't, because 'the msrp price would be $19,170 instead of $17,495 for dolphin great (really, $1,700 premium for a different color?)'. After the test drive, I said would like to pay and asked to give me the total price. The guy comes back to me with a price that is $3,600 more then Keisha's 3-times promised price and written quote. They stuffed the quote with bogus 'dealer-installed' options such as paint protection. I protested and said they need to honor the quote. The General Manager came, and asked me sarcastically if I wanted them to remove the dealer installed options. Total all-in price they gave me with taxes, bogus options and reversal of rebates was $19,780. Alicia's/ Keisha's quote was $16,185 (with $379 fee being 'negotiable'). What are these guys smoking? Do they really think that their buyers want the new car so much as to overpay $3,600+ to an unethical dealer, all because we drove 2o miles to the dealership. Do not buy from them. Walk away. This dealer is unethical, does not honor their prices, and stuff unsuspecting buyers with expensive and unnecessary dealer options. If you are reading this, dealer, I will describe my experience in every other online dealer review I can find. Today, to survive in business, you need to preserve and nourish your reputation, and you don't. You will not survive on recurring scam. More
I went to Sansone Mazda to see what they offer on a new lease. I already had a lease with them that had 7 months left, and was really there to browse around. I advised him that I was not in a rush to lease a new car as I still had 7 months left on my lease and MADE IT CLEAR THAT I DONT WANT TO SPEND A DIME GETTiNG OUT OF MY LEASE. He came back and said the owner recognizes you (talking about Dean Sansone), funny as I never saw him in my life before. He then said I can get you out of your current lease and into a new Mazada 3, and we will make the remaining payments for you. I asked again does that mean I wont owe nothing on my old car? He said yes as long as you get another Mazda there wont be a problem. Thats when the samming began. Thye told me that they are sending the car right to Chase! I should have known this dealership is fishy as the 1st time I leased these people ilegally registered the car on my mothers name (WHO WAS NOT ON THE LEASE), they said "This is Jersey you can do whatever you want", I said ok as I had no prior knowledge of the law. After leasing the vehicle I get a bill from the bank. I call to see why I owe them money they say its because I terminated the lease early amd the car sold at auction for less than the car is worth. I CALL THE DEALERSHIP AND TALK TO Manager MARK, he tells me he will have to talk to Manager JOHN BELLAS and will call me back, 3 weeks go by no call back. I call and speak to JOHN BELLAS who claims he never heard from MARK. He says he will call me back. 2 Weeks go by and I am still waiting. I call Chase and tell them to send me a bill of sale from the auction. They tell me that DEAN SANSONE SOLD THE CAR. THE SAME PEOPLE WHO SAID THEY ARE SENDING THE CAR RIGHT BACK TO CHASE! I call Dean SANSONE AND THE NO ANSWER AFTER LEAVING 3 MESSAGES. I call again and the operator asks me for my name. I tell her Eddie, she says whats your last name. I say why dos it matter? SHE ADMITS " I MUST SCREEN DEANS CALLS! Its been 2 months and still no call back. Just do a Google search on DEAN SANSONE, There is a RIPPOFF REPORT, that makes it all clear. In addition, his professionalism and integrity led us back to buy a Honda one week after we bought a Subaru from this dealership. They offer a great range of prices and models for any budget, and even though we were buying on the lower end of the spectrum, Sal still treated us with great respect. Susan was also an amazingly efficient and friendly finance manager. It was a pleasure to work with both of them. Would definitely recommend! More

Let's be honest, there's only one experience worse than getting a root canal, that's buying a car from any dealership! I've purchased three vehicles from Sansone, the most recent a 2013 Mazda 6 i Sport. My experience was very similar to another reviewer Stevenbrin, only difference is that I actually made a purchase from Sansone. Our salesman, Jim Jones was great! He was the first to greet us and was very pleasant throughout the whole experience, including the test drive and price negotiation. Mr Jones is experienced and knows the business. As previously stated, my experience was similar to reviewer Stevenbrin, whereas the "guaranteed" internet price quoted to us, turned out to be way off the mark, as the vehicle included "extras" that we were not looking for, but were already included in the sticker price. We made our next best offer for the vehicle, and after some back and forth with Mr Jones and his managers, we came to an agreement on a very reasonable price. The car was nicely prepped and after meeting with their wonderful financial expert Susan,we drove away the same day with a great deal! More
