I would be happy to go back and forth tit for tat. You did not give him a copy of the “deal” he initialed. He told me there was no mark ups so why would I question your honesty. You did not explain it clearly as he was actually surprised today but like any young adult didn’t want to wait and was nervous about the whole deal. You probably take advantage of the elderly and other less informed buyer to. They are even happy with the deal not knowing how much you over charged them. You did actually not offer our deposit back once but nor did we ask for it because you had us right where you planned. Uneducated car buyer deceived and dangling the prize in front of him to make the irrational decision. Of course he agreed because in his mind the “car payment” was still affordable. He isn’t looking at it the same way you or I do. I promise you would not let your kid get bent over like this but your happy to do it to others. You have to live with yourself being sneaky and word smithing the conversation to get your way. Way to keep the dealerships sales people in the dirt. It’s your policy that they have to play under. Finally, yes thank you for accusing me of being a bad father, I do feel like I failed him today, I would never have let him order a vehicle from you if I was actually there when he was given your magic show of confusion. Thank you for reassuring me that you are not a dealer I would ever recommend or return to. I have contacted Toyota over this and will continue to write bad reviews for your dealership until I feel bored with it or I feel my point has been made. At times like this I wish I actually had a larger social media following. I wish there was a way to charge you back for my time. I wish I could call the ethics police on you. I wish you were just a nice and honest dealer.
