Taking advantage of someone with limiations. Dishonest! Very disappointed. My brother went there for an inspection. They quoted my brother $3100 for a rear brake job, replace wipers, replace serpentine belt, replace emergency brake cables. As soon as I found out, I called and had them stop work. Because the car was disassembled, they stated it would be $1100 to complete the rear brakes (unbelievable). The told me the car would not pass inspection until they REPLACED all emergency brake cables for another $1400. We drove the car to Pep boys. The lubed a lever on the rear brake linkage. I receive the sticker AND the lube job for $39. If you want to pay for some Romano employees college tuition....go to Romano and give your money away. What makes this worse is my brother has some limitations in dealing with people and they saw this and took advantage. Dishonest, dishonest, dishonest! Stay away! More

They were very excited about purchasing a reliable vehicle from what was supposed to be a dealership that stood by it's customers. When the vehicle reached the 4 month mark it started having trouble turning on and the rear differential went. They were told the reason the car was having trouble turning on was that the key was bent and that stripped the gears in the steering column. They asked why no one told them that when they were handed the bent key in the first place and they were told that my daughter must have bent the key. If you could see my daughter you would understand why this statement is ridiculous! The service department said it was going to cost them 2800.00 to fix their car. Kelly and Billy were outraged and asked the management to work with them...Kelly and Billy were willing to split the price with them even though they felt they were being "had" . Splitting the price would have shown good faith on both the dealership and Kelly and Billy's part. Romano's Toyota in Syracuse told them they would fix their muffler, a 300.00 job, ( they we're told that whole system needed to be replaced also) , but that was all they could do.. This sure sounds like s used car set up job to make more cash to me!! Now here we are 2400.00 later, they leave the shop , drive the car for one day and the rear differential is back to acting like it had never been repaired. I think this is going to be a matter for the department of consumer affairs. Don't purchase anything from Romano dealerships!!! More

This is the third purchase I have made at Romano Toyota. I did shop other Toyota dealerships before purchasing my 2012 RAV4 but decided to stay with Romano. Price was a major consideration but the way that Kevin Walsh searched for the exact vehicle I wanted and his straight forward approach as a salesman convinced me to stay with this dealership. Past outstanding experiences with the service department for my 2005 and 2008 Camrys' was a big part of my decision also. More

I recently tried to contact the dealer to buy a new car. I feel like I was treated badly with no respect. The sales representative was really rude and wasn't willing to offer any kind of information to help me find a right vehicle for me. I decided not to call them again or ask any help from them. They are so unprofessional, I found other dealers in town better than this, at least in terms of helping costumers. I'm glad that I'm going to get a car from another dealer. More
