My Toyota vehicles have been ably serviced there for over 7 y Mike Reed is the Best Friend of Toyota owners at Romano Toyota in East Syracuse. My Toyota vehicles have been ably serviced there for over 7 years, and while I found most persons in the Service Department to be congenial and professional, Mike is outstanding. Two reasons prevail for taking one's car in for service: (1) routine maintenance, and (2) unanticipated emergencies. Mike has handily taken charge of the situation in addressing both needs for me. He raises the bar of excellence in customer service and professionalism by consistently exhibiting the utmost patience, being thoroughly attentive throughout the process, exhibiting positivity while securing alternative means of transportation (when needed), and providing exceptional attention to detail. Repair quotes are fair and dutifully adhered to--friendliness and congeniality surround the entire experience. Mike Reed--hats off to you for excellence in providing welcoming, customer service!!! Terrible customer service and quality of cars I purchased a 2016 Toyota Camry 10 months ago. 3 months after I purchased it I took it there for its scheduled tuneup and they told me I had to have t I purchased a 2016 Toyota Camry 10 months ago. 3 months after I purchased it I took it there for its scheduled tuneup and they told me I had to have the back brakes and rotors replaced and that it would be $600. 3 months later I took it there for its scheduled tuneup and they told me I had to have the front brakes and rotors replaced. Considering that replacing the brakes before I purchased the vehicle was part of the deal I was furious. I mainly drive on the thruway every day and do not put much ware and tear on my brakes. I went to Romano Toyota to complain and when they went to look up the condition of the brakes and whether or not they replaced them they apparently had lost the records on the car. They said they'd call me back with the information but they never did. I called a week or two later, was told that the guy in charge of records wasn't there and that they'd call me back. They never called back. They obviously don't care about the condition of the cars they sell and couldn't care less once they get your money. I love my Toyota Camry but I will never purchase another vehicle from Romano Toyota again. Terrible. More

David Grills was our Sales Rep and he provide a great sales experience. I often dread the process of "haggling" to get the best price for my trade-in and new purchase, but this time it was different. David was great to deal with, he essentially gave us just what we asked for, which was reasonable and based on our market research. He was very knowledge of the product's features and details. This helped to confirm our decision. David made the process smooth and expedient. Roman has also provides great on-going service and maintenance. I highly recommend making your next car purchase at Romano Toyota, and ask for David Grills, you won't be disappointed! Together they will provide a great sales experience! More

Worst Experience... I would NOT recommend buying a car from this dealer!!! We came to look at a used Toyota Tundra. From the get go, we should have known this was not g I would NOT recommend buying a car from this dealer!!! We came to look at a used Toyota Tundra. From the get go, we should have known this was not going to be a good deal. While test driving the truck, the salesman was more interested in complaining about the rice that they ordered for lunch and how he needed to call the restaurant because the owners son would not be happy with what was bought for all the salesman that day. Not a single feature of the truck was discussed..... once back at the dealership..... we were stuck for two hours. Nothing was ever presented on paper... just scribbling on a piece of paper which he held at all times. After asking for our keys back several times, we left. While we were interested in another truck that was there (demo car that the owners son was driving) they asked if we could come back to have them look at our car again... meanwhile we were there two hours and they could not be bothered to drive our vehicle. After two weeks of going back and forth with the negotiations, the deal fell through tonight. We have been texting the salesman all week, they would not put the total sale on paper for us. Now they said “ the manager decided he didn’t like that deal anymore” and reneged on the last dollar amount we settled on. I have never dealt with a dealer like this before. This is why people hate dealing with car dealers. Worst experience!!! I do not trust a word they say. Buyer beware. More
