I have been going to Ray Catena Lexus Oakhurst Dealership and Service Dept. for over 10 years. Without reservation, this dealership is extraodinary! Andrew Seibert (Sales Consultant)is just an absolute pleasure to deal with and I "HIGHLY" recommend him. Brian Chadwick (manager of the Service Dept.)is wonderful in every aspect of customer service. His entire staff of Service Consultants and mechanical consultants are truly outstanding (take meticulous care of my Lexus vehicles and me). The Ray Catena Lexus Oakhurst dealership (from Sales to Service) is "Outstanding" in Customer Service in every way! Every person who works there is remarkable in how they attend to their clients. I went to a different dealer prior to buying from ray catena. I had seen a pretty good price on a "certified pre-owned" lexus rx350. Turns out it was a "finance price", they wanted me to give them an e catena. I had seen a pretty good price on a "certified pre-owned" lexus rx350. Turns out it was a "finance price", they wanted me to give them an extra $3500 on top of the advertised price and on top of that, it wasn't even certified, they wanted another $2500 for the warranty! that kind of advertising shoudl be ilegal. needless to say i walked out without buying anything. With ray catena, I negotiated a fair price on a lexus certified pre-owned car with the 3 year warranty, with no if's, and's or but's about it. i got the special financing that came with the certified car with no haggling and they were nice enough to show me the service history on the car so i know i wasnt' buying a car that was never maintained. since i live close enough i've had it serviced on 2 occasions for regular maintenance. i've had fords, toyotas, and even mercedes and bmws. at none of those places was i treated as well as i was over at this dealers service department. its nice to see that some people still do it right and care about their reputation. He is so knowledgeable, and always has our best interest in mind. We have been dealing with Ray Catena, Oakhurst for many years and will continue to do so as long as Steven Amster is a part of their team. Our daughter is also now driving a Lexus thanks to Steven. I've owned several different cars and could never say I enjoyed the purchasing process until my first time with Ray Catena Lexus of Monmouth in NJ, and my salesman Bob Mongiello. A year ago I went there kn enjoyed the purchasing process until my first time with Ray Catena Lexus of Monmouth in NJ, and my salesman Bob Mongiello. A year ago I went there knowing what I wanted, but they didn't have it on the lot. Bob did some magical work and in a couple weeks I purchased a new 2010 ES350 Ultra Luxury model loaded with Navigation/Mark Levinson, Parking Assist, etc. This entire experience and process from start to finish was exceptional and after having the car a year, I am still extremely happy with the car and completely satisfied with the exceptional service department. We had just wanted to trade my wife's Acura MDX in for another Lexus. I exchanged some emails with Bob and we went in to look at a pre-owned vehicle for her. Again, the entire process from what we were offered for our trade, to the easily agreed upon deal was fantastic. However after further realization on our part by the next day, the vehicle just did not work for our family with small children...a great car, but was just simply too small. After worrying we were now in for the worse and stuck, we hesitantly went back to the dealer to talk to Bob...once again, amazing! Completely helpful and understanding. Bob had introduced us to the sales manager Frank McLaughlin, and I couldn't help to think this is where the pressure starts. I couldn't have been more wrong...and after my dealings so far there and with my previous purchase, I should have known better. Frank too was a complete pleasure to meet and speak too, and again no pressure in the slightest. The fact is that they want your business and want you to be completely happy and be a lifelong customer...no surprises, no pressure, no hassles. I am sure every Ray Catena dealership is just as great, but I can only vouch for Ray Catena of Monmouth in saying if you want a beautiful reliable luxury vehicle, you must go with a Lexus, and if you want the absolute best buying experience and continued high level of service experience you will get anywhere - you've got to deal with Ray Catena Monmouth. This is a true class act dealership all around including the service department. I must give my extremely high recommendation of dealing with Bob Mongiello who will go out of his way, up and beyond to make sure you are happy...and pain-free. They do it right there all around which is a rarity. Not looking to sell one quick car for the short term no matter what it takes, they want a happy repeat customer long term. I've become a life long customer, and we will be back a bit later this year to purchase another new Lexus with Bob - and you should go see him too. More
My experience at Ray Catens Lexus in Oakhurst NJ was outstanding. I just leased a 2011 RX350 in matadore red - gorgeous! Or as I like to say, "Lexalicious". My salesman was Tom Conzo. Tom was knowledgeable, professional, efficient and courteous. Friendly, very down to earth. No nonsense. The deal we discussed was the deal he prepared and had ready when I came to pick up the car. There were no unpleasant surprises like I have experienced SO many other times at other dealerships. There were only pleasant surprises, such as the whole process being very fast and straight forward, as well as a Ray Catena Lexus gift bag filled with coffee mug, key rings, ez pass holder, hat, and other goodies. After everything was signed off with Tom (there was no series of managers to see - Tom handled everything), he brought me to the delivery area and showed me my car. It was perfect. He explained everything about the car and was very patient and kind as he helped me to set up my bluetooth phone, ipod, audio presets, etc. In addition to his clear explanations of the features of the RX, Tom advised me to watch the DVD that came with the owners manual. That was also very helpful and so it took only a day for my new car to feel very familiar and comfortable. The service area at Ray Catena Lexus is also wonderful. It is located a short distance from the dealership. Today I had bodyside moldings installed on my RX. The service was fast and efficient. The waiting area is very pleasant and spacious with a variety of complimentary food and drinks. There is TV with comfortable chairs and also many tables and computers available in a separate area away from the TV. I did some paper work and had a cup of coffee and before I knew it, my service advisor Joe Miller said the car was ready. They even washed it. It looked beautiful. I enthusiastically recommend Ray Catena Lexus for purchase and service. More
