Joel was really good and he was pretty good with my kids and m-in-law and most importantly my wife. I did my homework on the internet to figure out the best cost price and Joel pretty much matched my expectations. We wanted a LEXUS but still did not want to throw away money for less desirable "dealer" options and we got what we wanted..i.e. color, options etc and Joel listened (which is rare) to us and helped us choose the options. I would highly recommend Ray Catena. After all, the employees make up the company and ultimately contribute to your car buying experience (I seriously believe in that). Joel actually calls you every year about 2 times a year (without being a pest) to find out how things are, which is great follow-up. It has been 3 yrs since I bought my RX and we are very happy. I did not give a 5 for some of the aspects since I believe there is room for improvement (definitely NOT for the reason that we had any bad experiences in that area). More

I am looking for customer experiences with service for Lexus since we moved to a different township and wanted to share my experiences with Ray Catena's service (frankly I was appalled by the experiences of some of the customers with Lawernce Lexus, but I do not find it hard to believe since I had visited them twice for purchase. Finally took my purchase to Ray Catena. Now onto service at Ray Catena). Service is ok, I reckon. I have to admit that in '05 to '06 I had much better experience. In '07, there have been some changes in the service personnel and their attitude is not the best. For example, Lexus has now come out with an extended warranty (upto 100k miles) and you have the option to purchase it. This guy was pushing it so hard and more than that, he said statements along the lines of "some people break their lease because they can't afford to own a Lexus". In short, it left you with a feeling that if you did not purchase it, you are a pauper! (which is why I rated them 3!) It was similar story the last 2 times that I visited (not the same rep...mind you). On the service side, they are generally ok. Though the last time I went in April, they said they did not "hear" a noise coming from the body which I had no trouble hearing! I reported this to them the last 2 times and it is still pending. But I have to admit that the service that they perform is pretty good. For example, I had moisture in my head lamp, which they readily replaced (a faulty part as acknowledged by Lexus) at no cost and no hastle. In short, when I drive out of the service area, I do find a difference in the RX330 (for the better). More
I live about 90 miles from the dealer so I wanted to get a quote before I go. Surprisingly I got a very attractive quote over the phone which is a lot less than my local dealer had given me. The 90 miniute a quote before I go. Surprisingly I got a very attractive quote over the phone which is a lot less than my local dealer had given me. The 90 miniute drive was all worth it. I definitely recommend this dealer to any one who is looking for a Lexus. More
