This past summer I started shopping for a new car as my current lease was up in October 2012. I had a Lexus in mind but wasn't sure I could afford it. I had contacted a few dealerships and even went into one and test drove the RX. I had a negative experience with one particular dealership and was sort of put off by the experience. But then I contacted Lexus of Oakhurst via email and received a note back from Evan Quinones. I'm an email person being I work full time and have two young children to deal with so this was the preferred method of communication or me. Perhaps the other dealerships didn't like that or saw that I didn't have a boat load of money behind me, but Evan didn't seem to mind. I had a SLEW of questions and he took the time to answer everything and then some. I ended up being between the Lexus and one other car. I can honestly say it was Evan's determination to get help me get behind the wheel of the Lexus at a respectable price per month and explained every penny of the upfront costs that made me decide to go with them. He spent so much time going over everything with me that I felt comfortable and not pressured at all. The dealership itself was extremely clean, nice and with the friendliest people that I was so happy to be there. My daughter was thrilled to be able to eat a bagel!! :) The first time there I selected the car I wanted and signed most of the paperwork. The next week I came back to pick it up and Evan was again friendly and accommodating and everything was ready for me. The RX was a shining gorgeous white...the detailing was fantastic. I met with two other gentlemen who also were very nice (one to go over the warranties and the other who spent a LOT of time going over all of the bells and whistles in the car). I was almost sad to leave. I would highly highly recommend this dealership...regardless of where you live. I came down from North Jersey just for their spectacular service. More

Didn't try to push me into the usual extras, and I walked in on a Saturday "just looking", and by lunchtime, drove out in my new Lexus GX 460. They also gave me a fair price for my old Nissan trade-in. Can't say enough good things about this dealership. Other car dealers in my area could take some lessons from this group. Thank you. More

Our experience at Ray Catena Lexus of Monmouth was outstanding. The entire staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. Upon arrival at the dealership, my husband and I were immediately greated and offered coffee and water. We were then introduced to our sales associate, Brendan Hynes. Brendan listened carefully to our needs and answered all of our questions. At the time, we were deciding between BMW and Lexus. Our major car search requirements were sportiness, navigation, bluetooth, leather seats, and a black or gray exterior. We were indifferent between new or certified pre-owned, but needed to stick to a budget. After test driving the IS250 and ES350, we liked the sportiness of the IS250 over the ES350. However, the BMW was still in the lead. That was when Brendan suggested looking at a pre-owned 2011 IS350 with only 7k miles; the car had everything we wanted and was within our budget. In addition, Brendan took the time to explain the entire navigation system and even loaded all of the contacts from my iPhone to demonstrate how the technology worked. Brendan also mentioned that we could have the car washed at the service station once a week for free. After test-driving the car in the sun, rain, and on the highway (Brendan has the patience of a saint), we decided to make an offer. We are extremely pleased with our purchase and would be happy to recommend Brendan and Ray Catena Lexus of Monmouth to our friends and family. More

As I was about to drive away from the Cadillac dealership I saw the Lexus dealer out of the corner of my eye and for curiosity sake I stopped in to check out their SUVs. Due to outstanding attention to detail and extraordinary patience, Tony Trocchia slowly convinced me to purchase a loaded pre-owned Lexus ES 350 which was absolutely in perfect shape. He was not pushy. He listened to my needs. He took me to multiple Lexus pre-owned SUVs that were in excellent condition. He allowed me to drive several vehicles without peppering me with questions as almost every other test drive salesperson I experienced in the past. I was actually able to test drive the vehicle and concentrate while I got something out of the test. In a very nonintrusive way he persuaded me to provide my budget, which is something I had never done in the past. He was genuine throughout the entire process. I never felt uncomfortable or like I was being worked as had been the case at many other dealerships. When we surpassed the ceiling on my budget Tony found a way to meet my needs with an agreeable price. And then he followed up with me in ways that no other salesman at an auto dealership has ever done. He personally took into the service facility (which is about ¼ mile away from the dealer showroom) and introduced me to all the people who would keep my certified pre-owned Lexus in tip top shape for the duration of my ownership. He also spent a 30 minutes sitting in the vehicle with me to review every option the vehicle offered. Also, my new vehicle runs 91 plus octane and with fuel prices over $4 per gallon my Lexus dealership filled my tank for me when bought. In the days and weeks that followed Tony contacted me several times to make sure everything was running properly and to gauge my level of satisfaction. The service manager sent me an email reminding me that my first/next oil change and filter would be at NO CHARGE. And Tony told me I was entitled to a free car wash once a week for as long as I owned the vehicle. I’m not talking a about an external only wash and drip dry. This is an Interior and exterior towel dried and vacuumed car wash practically with valet service. I bought this vehicle almost 4 months ago, and I am completely satisfied with my experience. I am so satisfied that my wife who drives a 2010 Audi SUV, and is currently extremely irritated over a performance problem with the central locking system and more importantly with the lack of customer service she has received from her Audi dealership, so much so that she recently said to me, why don’t we talk to Tony about a pre-owned Lexus SUV and get rid of the “Audi service department.” I am in my early 50’s and my wife and I have owned multiple high end luxury vehicles. This is our first Lexus. At the end of the day it is 50% about the car maker and 150% about the dealerships commitment to service. By the way, I was not referred to Tony, and met him for the first time on Friday, February 11th but plan to look him up every time my family has auto need. More
