I have had consistently good experiences here at the dealer, particularly with the express services up to a year ago or so, and also with recall service (just one) and detail cleaning (fabulous for my 1 dealer, particularly with the express services up to a year ago or so, and also with recall service (just one) and detail cleaning (fabulous for my 18-month old vehicle. Based on this, I brought my wife's car for the same detail treatment while she was away on a trip - a much older Outback. Of course, they couldn't get all the stains out of the carpet, and of course, it wouldn't look new again - it actually came out pretty well except for one thing: The driver's door handle must have been fairly worn, and the strong chemicals used in cleaning must have dissolved the remaining plastic/rubber on the handle, revealing the fabric underlayment. I don't mind that it happened - they did their best to clean years of dirt and wear. But, they didn't tell me, so later when I discovered the strange dissolved area just where my wife would touch the door, I was pretty unhappy. Before she returned, I went to a craft store and fixed the handle with a new layer of leather, so it turned out OK, but my confidence was a bit shaken. I expect I'll get over it, but I haven't been back yet and I suppose you should know about it. More
