I ordered 2012 subaru legacy 2.5GT. From the time I talk to Dayton until I got the vehicle, it was about 3 month. I have to say it was a wonderful experience to research, negotiating, and picking up the car to Dayton until I got the vehicle, it was about 3 month. Dayton was giving me options to either buy a car on the lot which is used or purchase new, he helped me to understand the pros and cons of selecting either option. Because 2.5GT is a order-to-make car, Dayton was able to let me get a feel of the car with the used car. That was a big help, and I decided to purchase a new 2012 model. Dayton was not rushing me to get into a deal, I have to say Dayton had given me the best deal I can find. During the process of waiting, he kept me in the loop of what the status is for the car. Until 3 days ago, when I saw the car on the lot, it was worth of the waiting. I was very happy to see the car. Jerry had effectively explained the paperwork with me, and I was able to get into my new ride at no time. At the end, I have to say it was a great experience to purchase through Ramsey Subaru. More
I worked with Cory Fetkowitz at Ramsey Subaru. My experience at this dealer was unmatched in my car search. I first visited Cory a year ago when I realized I was on pace to go way over my lease mile experience at this dealer was unmatched in my car search. I first visited Cory a year ago when I realized I was on pace to go way over my lease miles and considering purchasing a new vehicle. He was very helpful and professional throughout my entire visit. Cory gave me several friends calls and emails during the year I spent weighing my options. Finally when I decided I needed to exit my lease and purchase a vehicle, I decided I wanted a 2012 Impreza, but unfortunately these cars are hard to come by at the current time. I would have loved to have bought an Impreza from Cory and the folks at Ramsey Subaru, however I needed a car asap. I contacted 6 different dealers in the area and visited 4 total including Ramsey to try and locate my desired vehicle in the desired color. The people I dealt with were not knowledgeable or friendly, and truly made my car buying experience sub par. I was forced to buy from another dealer and I would highly recommend going to Ramsey Subaru instead. Thanks again Cory, I hope people come in to work with you more often as opposed to other dealers in the NY/NJ area. More
I had the best experience ever in buying a brand new Subaru Outback 2.5 Premium. Honestly, I cannot imagine how the experience could have been any better unless they gave me the car for free and made it Subaru Outback 2.5 Premium. Honestly, I cannot imagine how the experience could have been any better unless they gave me the car for free and made it magically appear in my driveway! i first visiting another dealer in person. A few days later I called them several times trying to negotiate a price and could not get them to return a call. Finally, they actually returned my calls and gave me a very competitive price. But in order to go down further, I had to come in the next day when another manager would be there. Annoyed at this runaround and afraid of dealer games, that same evening I sent a request out through Pricequotes. Within 5 minutes I got an email from Ramsey Subaru stating that their Sales Manager was very aggressive. I emailed back the great price quoted at the other dealership and was honest that they had said they could go down a few hundred further. Within ten minutes I got an email saying they would beat that price by $300. I emailed that I would be at Ramsey Subaru by 9am, the next day, a Saturday and that I wanted to be in and out in under 40 minutes. Well, as soon as I walked in the door, I was nicely greeted and asked if I was me. They cheerily walked me into Alex Petrushin's office. Alex asked what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. he said no problem and let him speak to the manager. no games, no long wait. 2 minutes later, done deal. A price so good it was almost impossible. Next, Alex said that he knew I was concerned on the trade in value of my ten year old car that had very, very bad paint. Alex was out and back and gave a very generous trade in offer of $3,500. Toyota across the street had told me $1,000. The deal was done in about 30 minutes. There was no pressure, no games, no long waits. I could have been out quicker if not for staying so long to thank everyone. Alex was very friendly, knowledgeable and great to deal with as was everyone else in the dealership. Oh, they did not have the exact color and model that I wanted along with the options that I wanted. They said it could take two weeks or less depending. I had a great experience.Great cuatomer service. Dayton was a great sales person,very friendly and made us feel comfortable. He explained everything to us and made sure we understood everything. We visited a few times before making a well educated decision and we are both grateful for the experience. I have just received my 2012 Subaru Impreza and I have to say that the vehicle is all that I expected. During the wait, of a little more than 3 months, I was in continual contact with Subaru of America and them with Ramsey Subaru. They kept me abreast of the status of my vehicle, even when they didn't know the exact delivery, they still kept in contact. Upon receiving my new Impreza, they went far and beyond what they should have, with great customer service, for my extended wait. I have to say, it was well worth the wait! I was a prior Bill Kolb Jr. customer and am SO glad I decided to buy my new Subaru from Ramsey. More
I ordered a 2012 Subaru STI Limited with a ahort throw and knob. Dayton told me that it will take approximately 5 to 8 weeks. We made an arrangement for me to visit the dealer and see the car. Dayton is very friendly, honest well informed and easy to talk to. He did not pressure me to decide right away to buy the car on display. He answered all my questions effectively to my satisfaction. He was very persistent but allowed me to decide either to wait for the car that I ordered or just buy the car on display. I gave Him the Subaru VIP Certificate and He told me that He will not make much commission in the sale of the car. He was instrumental in my decision to go ahead and buy the car on display. He exerted a lot of effort in the after sales service to my satisfaction. Even before visiting the dealer, He communicated with me regularly by phone and email. He is a very good salesperson for Subaru and an important asset of Ramsey Subaru. Jerry explained very well the extended warranty contract to my satisfaction. He gave me all the details of the financing and even advise me not to withdraw from my 401K, since it will be to my loss due to taxes and other reasons. I hope that we can change the terms and rates of the financing, since I was approved by the same bank for a car loan. More
