Found a few cars I wanted to check out online. I spun up an online offer with my trade in and ‘locked in’ my payment. Everyone I have met or worked with at this dealership has been a pleasure to meet and interact with. The available loaners are fantastic cars and everything I've been able to drive from Volvo is well above average in every category. I was fortunate to buy a limited edition Volvo S60 Polestar which is a rare sport sedan. The sales staff was excellent to deal with as well with my trade and my purchase of this excellent CPO stunner during purchase in 2019. I have owned a LOT of cars being a "car guy" and I will say this dealership is one of my favorites. The lounge and shop are top notch and the staff are excellent. They seem to truly enjoy their jobs here which says a ton about a business. More
In preparation for my 1700+ cross country trip from Kansas to San Diego, Ca. I had scheduled serving done on my 2016 XC-60. That servicing included a “tuneup “. Upon arrival in San Diego I was surprised to see the check engine warning light illuminate. (Fortunately that didn’t happen while I was driving and in the California desert). I managed to get my vehicle to the nearest Volvo dealership in San Diego where I was informed that the number 3 engine cylinder was mid-firing. This was very surprising to me in that a “tune up “ had supposedly been completed recently. The San Diego service department technician recommended the the spark plugs be replaced. If that didn’t resolve the problem the next step should be to swap ignition coils to isolate the problem. I didn’t have the time to spend attempting to isolate this vehicle malfunction. Furthermore, I was informed that it would possibly be a few days before I could get an appointment. I didn’t have the luxury of remaining in San Diego while waiting for an appointment. I chose to change all spark plugs and the ignition coil for the #3 cylinder. Fortunately I was able to drive the vehicle back to Kansas without further problems. Upon arrival in Kansas I spoke with the service manager at Premier Volvo who informed me that a “tuneup “ only includes replacement of spark plugs. Ignition coil replacement is only accomplished if a failure occurs. In my opinion that is totally unacceptable. If ignition coil failure can occur at any time that failure could happen at the most inconvenient time. Possibly while in the middle of the desert. Please conduct research to determine if ignition coil replacement should be placed on scheduled replacement cycle. Having them scheduled for replacement after failure is totally unacceptable and too late. I would also like to comment that the service manager at Premier Volvo was very un-professional and condescending. I’ve been a loyal Volvo customer for many years but, must now reconsider that brand loyalty due to that individual. Feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further. More
I would be very weary of doing business at this dealership. They lack ethics and are not to be trusted. While it was being serviced we found a newer model we were interested in purchasing, and when it came time to discuss the trade in for our vehicle (this was the day after it was serviced and we were told everything was absolutely fine) they told us there was over $5k worth of service work to be done on it, reducing the trade in amount significantly....yet none of that was stated in the conversations with Hector Xiong. This says a tremendous amount about this dealerships lack of ethics and honesty. We will be taking our business elsewhere, both for service and sales - I would not recommend this dealership to anybody. More
We drove up from out of state to purchase our Volvo here, passing several closer Volvo dealerships. Our sales lady had us in and out quickly, knowing we had a long drive home. Follow up after our purchase was helpful too, especially since we left without a full demonstration of the features. Highly recommend. More
I would never buy a car from Premiere Volvo. The salesman lied to me about the price of the new vehicle, then lied about the price of my trade-in. I don't know how or where they got my credit score information, but I have access to Experian and it said my score was 30+ points higher than what they were telling me. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. I will drive to St. Louis to the next nearest Volvo dealership to buy my XC40 Recharge. More
Spent an hour with Dennis considering the Volvo xc60. Took a test drive and really liked the car. Dennis did a great job of explaining all the reasons the Volvo is one of the top rated cars.
