2 time customer I went to Parks Ford earlier in the year to look at a used car for my wife, but ended up buying a new SUV for money than we anticipated. So we were I went to Parks Ford earlier in the year to look at a used car for my wife, but ended up buying a new SUV for money than we anticipated. So we were quite pleased. Fast forward to now, I decided it was time to upgrade my own vehicle, which was a Mazda3. I initially planned on getting a newer version, but because of my experience with my wife's car I decided to go back to Parks Ford to look at the Ford Focus. I am happy I did. I was greeted by Robert McNichols, I'll refer to him as Bob. We sat and he invited my 2 small children to play in a children's room, but of course they played on my phone instead. Then Bob asked me what I liked and disliked about my current car, and what my goal was in a new car. I listed off things like allow wheels, navigation, 4 doors, fuel economy, cloth vs leather, paint colors, etc. Their lot is so large, he was basically able to locate options to meet my criteria and after a few minutes they pulled a car into a covered bay for me(did I mention that at this point rain was coming down in sheets?). I test drove a car and was happy, so then it came time to talk about financing. I had done some research online and felt prepared as far as what my car should be worth as a trade in, and what the price of the new car should be. Even so, I don't like haggling, so I was not excited for this part. It turns out I had little to worry about. I didn't get low-balled on the offer for my car at all, in fact, I doubt I would have been able to get as much through a private sale as I did through Parks. Regarding the price of the new car, the initial price on the car was good, about what you would expect from a dealer with the ability to sell at volume, but with all the incentives that Ford was offering, and some give on the part of the dealership, I feel like I got a lot of car for the price. In a nutshell, everything I wanted out of the car, for less than I thought possible. I know they worked very hard to make it happen, and I don't have to take their word for it. I know because I have fraud monitoring through the credit bureaus, so that I get calls for verification from potential lenders. I got more than 20 calls that day from lenders to verify that I was looking to purchase a vehicle. So I am happy with my experience. The staff really did make it their mission to get me everything that I wanted without killing my budget. More
