These guys are dishonest crooks that live up to all the sleazy car sales stereotypes. They sell cars over Toyota MSRP and then add dealer fees on top of that and are not transparent or consistent in their sleazy car sales stereotypes. They sell cars over Toyota MSRP and then add dealer fees on top of that and are not transparent or consistent in their pricing and will change a price mid contract and strong arm you into signing for that price, or fully allow you sign a contract when they have changed the price without explaining to you how they altered the deal. Had a great experience with the sales person friendly, helpful, great communication and patient as he worked through our back and forth on making a decision. It was when Mike Something the sales manager got involved when we began having doubts. He gave us a price worksheet for the car we wanted not the exact model but the one they had in stock and needed to sell that week (end of the month), red flag number 1. Knowing we still had some thinking to do, red flag number 2 came when he refused to let us have the worksheet, we could take a picture of it but it had to stay in the dealership, we even specified that this price was just an estimate nothing binding because we were not going to put a deposit down, (thank god we didn’t let him pressures us into that because I am sure they would have kept it or not applied it to the car and called it a holding fee or something), or buy anything that day. They gave us a fair amount on the trade in went down a little on extra dealer fees and felt we had come to a fair deal not great but fair. We thought we had a deal and as we were getting ready to write the check, and sign the paperwork, all of a sudden Mike Something calls over the sales person who brings back new paper work that has a new amount, when we questioned this there was a lot of shady talk about how the price was not for the VIN that was quoted to us and how a mistake had been made and the worksheet and price we discussed on the phone were not correct and he gave us was for the worksheet for the wrong car and that the price for the car was now $51k. All of a sudden the model that we wanted was going to be $7k more then we thought we had agreed on they began to pressure us to sign it quickly without explaining why the price was more when we asked why the paperwork changed, and that this was our fault for beginning indecisive and the price was only good on that day, blah blah blah. They tried to swindle us and baited us to agree to one price and then tried to slip a higher price in before we realized what we signed for. Mike Something then offered us a lower model car with less upgrades for the original agreed upon price or we take the model we agreed on at the new higher price, no questions take it or leave it situation. Mike Something unwillingness to make any concessions shows me that it was not a mistake on his end and he intended to pull a bait and switch and thinking trick us into signing for a car that was $7k more than we agreed up so he could sell a car for more than 9k over MSRP. It was not a mistake but a sleazy trick when we believed we had a deal, so we left and will never come back to this dealership or any Ourisman dealerships. I would rather pay more money for the same car somewhere else than give this dealership a single dollar. Be cautious if you decide to buy here and know that they are charging thousands and thousands of dollars over Toyota MSRP and will strong arm you into signing a contract for a price that was more then you agreed to. More
