Paul, Service Associate, went into the shop to check, came back and informed me that the work couldn't be done because they didn't have the proper tool. A technician was sent to get the tool (off site) and the work would be completed in the afternoon. 1. In what world is it okay to schedule an appointment with a customer to make a recall repair and "not" have the tools required to complete it? 2. Upon finding out that they couldn't have the recall work done within the estimated time, due to not having the proper tools, they compounded the problem by not informing me of the issue and let me sit in the waiting room. Had I not inquired, no telling how long I would have had to wait. This is the 4th time we've had an issue with Northwest Hyundai Service. More
We were pleasantly great in a timely manor, shown the vehicles we requested to see also in a timely manor. Our sales person was amazing Andrea helped us tremendously. Love her and would purchase another vehicle from her anytime. We couldn't have had a better experience with Andrea Paniagua. She was knowledgeable in the vehicles we were interested in and very attentive to us while we were at the dealership. She also was very helpful to me when I need assistance with some of the features in the vehicle after the sale. She is a keeper for Northwest Hyundai sales force as far as I'm concerned. More
My wife and I were interested in purchasing a 2023 Hyundai Palisade. Most dealers in the Houston area are offering $500 refundable deposits to hold a vehicle. Northwest Hyundai required a $1000 non-re Hyundai Palisade. Most dealers in the Houston area are offering $500 refundable deposits to hold a vehicle. Northwest Hyundai required a $1000 non-refundable deposit. We completed the deposit, but changed our mind within a few days. Our request for a refund was denied because apparently, multiple customers had come in and weren't able to buy the car. Obviously though, only person could have purchased it. I understand having a policy in place, but $1K is a lot of money, and that car is extremely popular, it's going to sell. Just a terrible policy, and they wasted an opportunity to retain a future customer. Would love for them to see this and reach back out. More

Inflated market adjustments, undesired add ons, treating clients like they are ignorant on financing. All to get you to make a losing deal light-years above MSRP. They used all of the predatory practices you can expect from your typical car salesman. At some point he brought his coworker over and they both raised their voices telling me I wasn't serious about buying a car. It's as if they had regressed to some type of schoolyard bullies. It was all very pathetic. Do your best to stay away from this dealership and their shady practices. Plenty of places out there that deserve your time and money. I hope I can save someone the stress of dealing with Northwest Hyundai. More
I'd stay away. Walked in to purchase a Hyundai Venue. The numbers they gave me were obscene, along with an absolutely offensive lowball offer for my trade of a 202 Walked in to purchase a Hyundai Venue. The numbers they gave me were obscene, along with an absolutely offensive lowball offer for my trade of a 2020 Mustang with less than 30k miles.. I walked away. They called me back with a much better offer so I sent my husband in to apply for financing. They then tried to mark up the price of the car by THOUSANDS, saying that since they gave me more for my trade that they had to raise the price of the car. As if somehow that makes it a better deal. I'm not an idiot. If you give me more for my trade and then raise the price of the new car, then it's the same price! Also unchanging for things that were supposedly included in the sticker price. So we told them not to contact us again. Then I got another text late at night last night to try to convince me that they're giving me a "good deal" . I ignored them. Then they called AGAIN this morning. Funny that they're still desperately trying to sell us the car given that they tried to pressure us yesterday by saying someone else was there trying to buy the same car. Obviously they didn't offer them a good deal either or they'd be leaving me alone by now. I'll shop elsewhere. If I'm going to pay 29k for a car, I want a 29k car... not a 24k car that's been jacked up to 29k due to my "higher trade value." Shady. More

Mind you, we had an appointment generated off of an online inquiry. First problem was that they started the figures off over 3K more than the advertised price. Then they started tacking on charges like 4K for their Apex system (GPS and body damage coverage) and first one thing and then another till it was close to double the original advertised price. The original price was 3K over the KBB value but when they finished, this used car with over 50,000 miles would have cost more than my SUV that I bought brand new. The entire experience left me insulted. According to them, all cars are sold at roughly $10,000 above the advertised price. I guess that's why their lot is full of them. While they were very polite, pleasant and professional, their tactics are horrible. It was a huge waste of our time. More
I brought my Kono back in December. I was told I needed apex protection plan and gap insurance which I purchased in my finances. Then I found I could get gap insurance 500 cheaper with I was told I needed apex protection plan and gap insurance which I purchased in my finances. Then I found I could get gap insurance 500 cheaper with my credit union. So I refinanced my vehicle. Then the policy I cancelled was refunded to the dealer and then sent the corporate. I have a 2785.00 refund that I have been trying to get since March. Every time I call and hold and hold get hung up on have talked to many people told same thing has not been released pending. Pending what?? Don’t believe everything a salesperson tell you. Now I have no idea how to get Hyundai to release my money🥲. Any help would be appreciated More
My engine of my Hyundai Santa Fe had to be changed under warranty. They had my vehicle 7 weeks. Yes, you read that correctly; 7 weeks. Once they received the engine, they said they didn't know when they wou warranty. They had my vehicle 7 weeks. Yes, you read that correctly; 7 weeks. Once they received the engine, they said they didn't know when they would do the work because they were "overwhelmed" by all of the service work they had lined up. When I finally got my vehicle, the technician had changed the radio to Tejano music, apparently while it was being test driven. I would think that a technician should be test driving a vehicle without music blasting so they can listen for any unusual noises. Also, after 7 weeks of sitting on their lot, no one ever thought about checking to make sure the battery was charged and ready to go. We had to wait for them to jump the vehicle and then they told us that the (almost) new battery was probably bad. But the worst of it was, I had not had any issues with my air conditioner before dropping off the vehicle. As a matter of fact, it worked very well and would get cold quickly. When I drove off from the dealership, the A/C was blowing warm air. I had to loop around and bring the vehicle back. The service manager, George Sanchez, immediately got defensive and said that his technicians were not responsible for any problems with the A/C and that it could be the compressor, which I would have to pay for. He said this without even putting the vehicle on the rack and checking it first. Anything could have (accidentally) happened during the engine change that could have affected the A/C but George was adamant that he knows everything that his technicians do. That's impossible since he is sitting in an office inside the building and can't possibly stand next to each and every technician. There will be mistakes. A little customer service would have gone a long way. Maybe he should have offered to check the vehicle before he ran his mouth. After finally looking at it, he said that the freon needed to be 'charged'. At this point, I feel that he may have just been trying to cover for one of their mistakes but was too embarrassed to admit it since he spoke before investigating. It would have been better for him to be honest. Unfortunately, I've lost confidence in the service department at Northwest Hyundai. More
BUT 5 STARS for Eduardo because he is great sales man and highly recommend, also will go great lengths to get you a deal. 4 rating is in between only because Eduardo is awesome But MSRP is $22,660.00 for highly recommend, also will go great lengths to get you a deal. 4 rating is in between only because Eduardo is awesome But MSRP is $22,660.00 for a 22 Elantra SEL. Their "Market Selling Price" of $25,500 means they are placing a dealer-added markup on this unit. Crazy. And like that is not enough, they propose placing a hard add-on of $1,999 for APEX? No deal in markups on a 22k economy car. More
When you are looking to purchase a new car, the sales department tells you how great they are, but now I have an issue and the service department does not seem to have enough technicians to get to my car department tells you how great they are, but now I have an issue and the service department does not seem to have enough technicians to get to my car in a timely manner. My car was there for 3 days before I received any explanation. Finally, I was told my warranty would cover the failure. However, the call came after the office was closed on a Saturday and the message only told me that it will take another 4 days before they can get the approval to do the work. Additionally, there was no information as to how I am supposed to proceed without a vehicle. After inquiring about transportation options, which I should not have had to ask about, the information I received was that they have too many cars needing warranty work to provide me a loaner vehicle and the allowance for a rental car will only cover about half of what we are seeing is the going rate for our area. Also told that it was still going to take another 3 days before they can get it approved for the warranty work and then they could order what would be needed for repairs. It now looks like it could two weeks, or longer, to get my car repaired and back. I have a car and a warranty for a reason - because I need reliable transportation! Certainly not pleased that the service department is not hurry to get my vehicle repaired and back to me, and I am sure it is because there is no money in warranty work. Again, if I were there to buy a new car, people would be lined up to try and offer assistance. I loved my Tuscan, but now I am not sure how great of a car it is if there is a failure with the transmission this early. Super disappointed to have it fail just halfway through my warranty period. Never had this problem with any other car with a lot more miles. May think twice now before buying another. More
