NC Ford used to provide top notch service - I have three Ford vehicles, and even though I paid more to take them there, it was worth the support and involvement they had. I had a clutch replaced in my 2001 Mustang in 2010. Two years later, it had to be replaced again. At that point they had a new Service Manager, Darin Pearcy, who has completely ruined the operation. They could not procure the part, and had the car for six weeks (a loaner was provided). No one could explain how the original factory clutch had lasted for over 75,000 miles, but their replacement (supposedly a factory part) lasted only 10 percent of that mileage. No compensation was offered, and no responsibility was taken. The car is driven less than 10 miles round-trip to work by my wife (as it had been for the previous six years). No apologies were made for the previous part failing, the inability to order/find a replacement OEM part, NOR for the fact that when we went to pick it up, my new battery (less than 1-year old) was completely dead, and the car was completely dirty. While waiting for them to figure out what was wrong, Mr. Pearcy came out and was standing next to me, but offered no apology OR appreciation for our continued business. Other than using some remaining pre-paid oil changes, I will not use them again for any kind of service, and will strong discourage anyone else from visiting them. More
Long story short, if they promise you ANYTHING get it in writing, because once you sign the contract you will never hear from them again nor will you get what you were promised. And if anything goes wrong ie. parts fall off, parts missing you are out of luck. Customer Service is non-exsistant. This dealership reminds me of the shady used car dealers in the movies, so happy you're on the lot but once you purchase, you are nobody. More
Last fall, I was referred to NC Ford through the Costco Auto buying program; Jeff Pembleton is the salesperson that contacted me. I explained that I was interested in a new F150, and I have very specific requirements to include "goal is is to get the max trailer weight rating possible for this vehicle". I also explained that I keep my vehicles for the long run, and am not interested in a resale. There were no F150s that had the features I need, and I was told this was due to end of model year. Long story short, in early February, after several months of looking though dealer inventories, I get an email from Jeff, here is an excerpt: "Hi Jim, The other dealer finally responded with "SOLD" unit. The only other unit less than 300 miles away was a 301A Pkg. So what I am going to do is order a truck just like you want it equipped. I will order it under your name. I will also keep you updated with the progress. If you want it when it arrives "GREAT" if you do not. Then no harm no foul and we will put it into our inventory. Please let me know if you're receptive to this proposal ? I responded affirmatively. Well, I literally had to send numerous emails to inquire on the delivery status. Jeff never took the initiative to contact me! Finally, on March 28th, i get an email from Jeff, here is another excerpt: "Hi Jim, I have not been avoiding you just looking for a truck to sell you. Since the one that was ordered, was not ordered correctly and does not have the Max Tow Pkg. I put the order together but it is our inventory manager that actually places the final order. Anyway, The reason for my email today is to let you know we have a "Certified Pre-Owned" (see window sticker) that I can make you a great deal on ! " I was dumbfounded! So I email the customer service rep, Joni Teerlink to inform her of the my experience and the poor customer service. I get a response indicating: "I apologize for this situation. I will need to do some research into this to see what happened. I have sent your e mail to Jeff’s Manager and the General Manager of the dealership. Thank you for your email. We appreciate customers who let us know when things aren’t right." Almost a week later and I have not heard a thing from anybody at NC Ford. Apparently, poor customer service and a failure to communicate is corporate culture at NC Ford and they have so much business that they really don't care about how their sales staff treat their customers. Can you believe Jeff actually blames fault, takes no responsibility for ensuring the correct options were ordered! He also tries to sell me a resale...as if this makes everything okay! More

I defiently would not reccoemnd this dealership. They promised me a car they found at another dealer as they did not have one with all my requested options on the lot. They made a deal then failer to deliver and kept tryong to sell one on the lot. They promised deliver at 5:00pm same day then next morning , then next afteroon and then following Monday. They did little to address my concerns and stayed arrogant and disrespectful once they thought a deal was made. GM failed to take any action or return calls and emails and the same for their customer support manager. I feel they definelty did not tell the turth about the car I was to purchase, tried to steer me to one fo theirs and failed in every aspect of customer support. More
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. I was ready to buy a Ford Transit van and the manager Mike says that if there's rebates, then the customer will get them and implied how honest he is. Usually, when you hear that, the truth is quite the opposite. Sure enough an item for the interior which qualified for a full rebate, they only wanted to cover half the cost. They agreed on that , then later came out stating that I had to purchase $1200 of options before the vehicle qualifies for any rebate. Well, the fool, "Jesus" brings me the statement from Ford, which was correct except in small print on the bottom, it stated the Ford Transit did not apply, which I had to point out to him. The item did in fact qualify, but they were lying through their teeth. I was signing docs, when the next lie unfolded--the $1000 rebate he promised me, just went away, since I refused to pay Ford's absurd 6.99% rates. I could go on and on, but I wouldnt buy a bicycle from these bull****ers! Typical used car salesman tactics! More
Brought in my 2010 Ford Escape for service on my passenger-side air vent, which is stuck and almost impossible to move in any direction. Just be warned of this "feature" if you plan to buy an Escape, they will NOT fix it. More
This place is horrible! I called in advance to schedule service for my 2010 Edge for an alarm problem. I arrived on time, and waited 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. My service manager was Chris, a new guy with a horrible attitude. He told me I'd have to leave the car there, even though I had an appointment. He said the car should be ready by 3:30pm (dropped off at 10am). I called at 4pm and he told me they hadn't started working on it yet, and I would have to leave the car overnight! The next day around noon I got a call that my car was ready. I went to pick it up, and the alarm problem was fixed but now the key remote wouldn't unlock the doors!!! Chris told me it's not their fault nor their responsibility to fix! He blamed it on another Ford dealer. He became extremely rude and short with me, raising his voice quickly and blaming me. I told him the car is worse then it was before and he said I was wrong, even though I could no longer unlock my car (how is that better???) I asked to speak to a manager, so Chris went to get him, but didn't come back with the manager. He said they would take the car back from me, but I'd have to leave it for another 2 days. I said they made the problem worse and told me my car was ready when it wasn't, so they should fix it now. He said absolutely not going to happen. I asked for a loaner and he laughed at me. I again asked to speak to a manager, since he never came the first time, but apparently the manager "left for a meeting offsite" and I would have to wait for an hour. At this point I was fuming. I stood in Chris' office until he called the manager, who didn't answer. To prove he called, Chris showed me his phone, which had a naked woman as the wallpaper! I told him I didn't appreciate him showing me porn, and he got mad at me and said that's his wife, which certainly didn't make it any more appropriate! Finally the manager called back and said they would work on the car. They still would not give me a loaner, but they allowed the courtesy shuttle to take me home and pick me up later that day. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever had! Chris is a joke. He's new, and should never have been hired. Do yourself a favor and don't go anywhere near this dealership!!! More
