I contacted the dealership again. This time I was told that there is only 1 manager on duty and not available to respond. Service department still gave me the same message that if the maintenance light is not on, then it is not yet ready for service. Speaking to another dealership, they told me that they never go by the maintenance light, and always do maintenance according to the recommendation. The funny part is that Norm Reeves automation system contacted me via email, telling me that I am due for maintenance because my vehicle is at 7700 miles. It looks like they will just say anything to avoid doing the work. Now waiting for their service manager to get back to me.
