We live in the Florida Panhandle and I could not travel to South Florida during COVID-19 due to health issues. From the first contact with Erin to the last with Phil and Jeremiah, everyone I communicated with was very professional and solely interested in ensuring we were able to make the deal happen despite the distance. Dealership is very nice, clean, and most employees seemed genuinely friendly. My salesman, Skip, was great and understood what I was looking for and expected when it came to my expectations on how I wanted genuinely friendly. Everything went well until I was introduced to Jeremiah for signing the paper work. He was pleasant until I told him I wasn’t interested in any warranty or service packages. This when he became very unprofessional, hostile, an argumentative. I had to tell him no and explain to him numerous times my reasoning before he reluctantly dropped it. He than asked if I would agree to put less money down on the car, but refused to answer when I asked why. After about another five minutes of back and fourth, he finely said it was because he wanted a bigger bonus from the sale and because I refused to buy the extra warranty and service packages. If I put less down, I would finance just enough for him to increase his bonus percentage. If it wasn’t for Jeremiah’s dishonest sales tactics, and his nastiness when declining them, I would have given Naples Mazda and Skip a perfect 5 stars. I would recommend buying a vehicle from Naples Mazda unless Jeremiah is finalizing the sale. If he is, tell your salesman sorry, run out the door and find another Mazda dealer to purchase through. Btw, the CX-5 is an amazing vehicle. If you are considering it, go for it, you won’t be disappointed. More
