I have bought both new and certified used cars from her and we have been through just about everything having to do with vehicles together. She and the entire crew have earned my complete confidence. Not only that, Phil Smart, Sr is a pillar of the Seattle community and one of the finest individuals I have had the good fortune to get to know personally. Just try to spend an hour of small talk with the actual owner of any other major car dealership! Mr. Smart recently (2009) celebrated 50 years of owning and operating his dealership. I do not know of another with that heritage. And Phil Smart, Jr. is there to keep everything running smoothly if his amazing dad ever decides to pass the wand. The entire dealership is a class act. When you walk into the showroom there are usually no salespeople visible, just a courteous receptionist and a half dozen beautiful vehicles. You can take things at your own pace. If you haven't worked with a female salesperson, I strongly recommend it (but that may just be how good Kathy is). Another trick of mine is to have the sales rep drive the demo while I sit back and listen to the pitch and really take in the vehicle. Works for me. The service departments (two locations) are impeccable and the staff is abundant, courteous and expert. The "garage" mechanics are probably the best trained technicians on the planet. Back in the day I prided myself on servicing and repairing my own cars; not now: there isn't even a dipstick to check the oil! And the parts department will expedite anything needed in record time.
