When I arrived and it was discussed that I should have diagnostics to determine whether I needed a battery or an alternator, I was told it would be 268. I asked if that was part of the battery or alternator replacement. No, it not. I was unhappily surprised. I think the whole estimate experience was unsettling. I have been a client for more than 10 years. I am rethinking any more purchases made withthis dealership. The resulting bill did not show the estimate for diagnostics so I still have no idea whether I paid for that or not. More

I reserved a loaner car as I’ve done many times and when I got there, I did not have my insurance information. Therefore, I had to go back home and reschedule for a week later. I was never previously asked for insurance information. I understand the reasoning behind it, but I wish somebody had communicated to bring it with me. It delayed me a week. 2. I was informed to be at approximately $236 charge just to look at my problem. Which turned out to be it needed a software update. I didn’t know there was a initial charge just to look at the problem. 3. I know really retailers are charging the 3% fee for using a credit card. I know it’s a financial decision by Mercedes-Benz. But I think it cheapens and the brand. Luxury users don’t expect dollar store treatment. If I come back, next time, I will bring cash dollar bills and change, as that’s what the fee asks one to do to be financially prudent. More
