Invisible man I scheduled a service for a factory recall, a defective light in my center console, I arrived and all the employees in the service center were busy. T I scheduled a service for a factory recall, a defective light in my center console, I arrived and all the employees in the service center were busy. There were four male employees ( three caucasians and one African-American) in the room, the female receptionist was not at her desk. I only mention the race of the men to rule out a racial issue. They were so busy in approximately a ten minute span none of the four employees took the time to acknowledge my presence, ie “ I’ll be with you in one moment”, “One moment”, “Good Morning” or a combination of the three. I walked towards the lobby in frustration, to cancel my appointment even though I’m in the building, after taking off from work to get the maintenance completed, and no one saw me or care to do their job and assist me. A perfectly grey haired man with a really nice Master Buick polo shirt ask me what was wrong. I replied, “you can see me, I thought I was INVISIBLE because no one in the service center can see me, I explained, I’ve been waiting for ten minutes and no one cared to assist me. He replied, “COME WITH ME, I’LL GET SOME HELP’. We walked to the serivice center and he said someone assist this gentleman. Do everyone have to talk to the perfectly gray haired guy to get service at Master Buick? Later, I was informed that the faulty light in my center console may take up to three hour to trace at over $100 an hour.and my extended warranty would not cover because a part isn’t needed. I couldn’t help but think “is this pay back”. I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the case that was just my thought. Everything else was great. SOME TIMES RACES ARE WON OR LOSS DURING THE START. Thank you perfectly gray haired gentleman and Mrs. Cox for kind and courteous assistance. More
