This dealership was “okay”. Originally said they’d meet me where I live to drop the car off, then the day before said they were short drivers and wanted me to come to the dealership. It then took me 5 times over the course of two days of contacting my salesman to get the paperwork emailed to me. We did everything over the phone and through text, so there were times where it seemed like the salesman was inattentive and forgot about me. There were several times where I had to text him after 3-4 hours of no response to follow up (I get he’s also on the floor and dealing with others, but as a person committed to purchasing a car I felt like there could have been more attentiveness or at least some warning he was busy/couldn’t get back to me quickly). Don’t get me wrong, they were nice in person, and weren’t the worst to work with. But certain things could have made it a better experience. More

I ordered a Mach-E in May 2021, and worked with Jason until it was delivered in Dec. 2021. Jason was good at returning my calls, or providing status of the order, during the interval, but was not part o until it was delivered in Dec. 2021. After the vehicle arrived, the dealer prep was pretty minimal with adhesive from the protective coverings still visible on the vehicle. The main challenge I faced with Livermore Ford was transacting the sale. I had exchanged e-mail with Matt Zapien the General Sales manager a few days prior to delivery, asking that to arrange the terms of the sale ahead of time since Livermore Ford agreed to honor the Ford website "no ADM" price. I also explained I wanted to take advantage of the Ford Options financing that Ford was providing. Matt did not return my communication and upon my arrival at the dealership to take delivery, I was told that the Livermore Ford computer systems weren't able to handle "balloon payment" financing systems and that the Ford Options financing was not available. This eliminated a $2500 incentive Ford was offering for the Mach-E purchase and took food off my table. I am extremely disappointed in this. This was further met with the incompetence of the sales team. They initially left the $750 rebate from CA off the finance paperwork, and then after we wrote up everything and signed the paperwork, decided that the $1500 deposit I had left on the Ford website 6 months earlier, needed to be refunded by Ford, and I had to return to write another check for the difference. It was a total joke, and after reaching out to other Mach-E purchasers in the Nor. Cal area through the Mach-E forum, learnt that I could have had the financing I wanted at dealers in Walnut Creek, Brentwood, Tracy, and others. I will not be usingLivermore Ford for any purchases or service going forward, and have since cancelled my F-150 Lightning order through them. More
Sales rep stated he would get a second key and the code to unlock the door. He wanted to charge $300 for a key. He said he would call me back with the code, it’s been a week and no call.
