He is very thorough in explaining the details of the vehicle and makes certain I understand the features of the car. Mr. Omid Navid has always made my experience at the dealership very pleasant. He is a very caring person and really knows the A to Z of each vehicle. They may have a great sales team but their service department is another story... I recently received a radiator flush and refill from this dealer but as I got home, I noticed that the coolant spr department is another story... I recently received a radiator flush and refill from this dealer but as I got home, I noticed that the coolant sprayed all over my engine as I went to check the engine oil. When I took it back the them, they claimed that because it was a 19 year old Lexus, that they assumed it was a 19 year old radiator too. After some arguing, I made the point that when I came in to the dealer, I did not have this problem but when I left the dealer, I did and for them to look at it from a consumer's standpoint. He agreed to check the whole coolant system and by almost mid afternoon, they called to tell me that the radiator was leaking and the overflow tank was leaking. I asked if they were going to do anything and Mike Hummel, the Assistant Service Manager, simply said that I wasn't their fault and tried to accuse my car of having that preexisting condition. I know Lexus strives on "The Pursuit of Perfection," but after I got my car back for the coolant exchange, there were no notes of a leaking radiator at the seam or the overflow tank. It is the dealer's duty to notify me, the owner, of any preexisting condition of my vehicle before starting work and note it on the work order, especially in an OPEN AND OBVIOUS area of the engine, for liability reasons. Not to my surprise, there were no notes of a leaking radiator or leaking overflow tank when I checked the work order on the receipt they gave me and they gave me the car only to find out of this problem when I got home. After a call to the Lexus Customer Satisfaction hotline about my complaint, Alan Vollbrecht, the Service Manager, called me on my cell accusing my car of having a head gasket leak causing carbon to enter my coolant system and proposed that they do a engine block leak test for free. I asked when is a good time to bring in my car and he said anytime tomorrow. So, at 9 am, I promptly arrived at the service department with my car which was smoking by the time I arrived at the dealer. After a two and a half hour wait, Alan came back with the test results and wouldn't you know it? My car came came back passing the test with no leaks in the head gasket and no carbon in the coolant. I find it hard to believe that right after they worked on my car that the radiator started leaking just by coincidence. With this new information, Alan, said that they "could help me" and give me a %15 percent discount of a $1385 dollar estimate they gave me to repair this problem. I refused and filed a complaint to Lexus Customer Satisfaction and I am awaiting a call back from them. If it wasn't for Dale Allen, Chris Doria, Steve Leisenring, or Marty Yoakum, I would have had a much more unfavorable experience with Lexus of Thousand Oaks. More
I was curious to see the IS Convertible so I walked into Lexus of Thousand Oaks to look at one and met Mr Pasche. His product knowledge and professionalism was beyond my expectations. After spending a considerable amount of time with Phillipe we were able to come to an agreement and I purchased my ISC from Phillipe. Since my purchase I've had questions about my car on a few occassions called Phillpe and he has promptly returned my calls even on his day off. Phillipe has always responded with the information I needed and if he didn't have an immediate answer he did the research and got back to me with the info I wanted. I had to take my car back twice to have two adjustments and the service department has made it as painless as possible. The service staff was professional and efficient. They turned around my car in the time they quoted and each time the reapir was done correctly. I will refer as many of my friends and family to Phillipe in the future with full confidence that they will be treated with respect and honesty. Mr Pasche is an Automitive Executive not a car salesman. My car is a head turner and I'm happy to refer anyone that asks to speak to Phillipe personally. Thank you, David H. Hertz More
I set out to buy a pre-owned Lexus ES350 and was originally headed to another dealership that I saw advertised online. I told her exactly what I was looking for and she showed me a few cars that fit that description. We took one for a test ride. I found Lora to be informative and friendly and best of all low pressure! We did a deal and I drove home in my ES! She has followed up with me 3 times and has answered all of my questions very thoroughly! I would highly recommend Lora and Thousand Oaks Lexus! More
From the moment we met Charles Shapiro at Lexus of Thousand Oaks, we we knew we were in for a very different car buying experience. Pleasant, knowledgeable, funny, reassuring, available, interested, accommodating, and resourceful, but never pushy. What a pleasure! Having purchased/leased 25 or more vehicles of various makes and models, I can honestly say that from that moment through the purchase of our 450h, certifying and turning over our 400h to our children, and the minimal servicing that has been required, this has been a completely different and significantly more positive experience than we have had at any other car dealership. Charles creates a perception that he is at the dealership 24 hours/day. He's always available when called or returns his calls dependably and promptly. He actually took the time and effort to get to know us, our family, and just enough about our lives to help in the decision-making process, without being intrusive or overbearing. He not only had a sense of what was good and bad about other choices in the marketplace, but how they would or wouldn't fit our needs. He was significantly more familiar with Lexus features than our prior Lexus dealership, and extraordinarily patient in his explanations and demonstrations of how to best take advantage of those available to us. He even came to our home to give a refresher course after we had driven our new vehicle for a few weeks. Now that's personal service! I have driven MBZ and BMW's for the past 20 years and will likely switch to Lexus when my current lease expires, in large part because of our experience with Charles and this incredible place to do business. He got me an outstanding deal and continually helps to keep me informed and updated regarding my car as well as new cars that are becoming available. Charles, along with the service staff, are always friendly and attentive, always have a loaner car available to me, and always take care of my car needs. Many times they have gone the extra step to repair something little for no charge, and there has never been a time where I felt they tried to get me to fix something that wasn't broken. My only complaint is the price of the major services, but when you purchase a luxury car, you have to pay more for the maintenance. Not only would I recommend this dealership, especially Charles, but I have many times. More
