We went to Lexus of Smithtown after having gone to a number of other dealers shopping for a new or used vehicle. We ended up purchasing a 2010 Lexus 350RX from Lexus of Smithtown because of the price a number of other dealers shopping for a new or used vehicle. We ended up purchasing a 2010 Lexus 350RX from Lexus of Smithtown because of the price and confidence that my wife and I had in the dealership. The salesmen, Neil Fogel and manager, Robert Rossworn were attentive, experienced and knowledgeable. They made us feel very comfortable. After the purchase Neil spent 1 1/2 hours with us explaining and programing all of the vehicles features and believe me this vehicle has tons of great features. They made purchasing the automobile a terrific experience. I previously was a Mercedes owner(3 times) and will never go back to one. I was assured by both Neil and Robert that the service department is the best around. Since every car salesman says that their service department is the best, I usually take that with a grain of salt, so I spoke to a few of the customers waiting for their cars to be serviced and they could not have been happier with both the quality and promptness of the service. He is the most competent salesperson I have ever dealt with when purchasing an automobile. I also speak with Denise Plourde. She describes the additional items that are availble as well as any special packages that I might be interested in ordering. She is also a pleasure to work with. In conclusion, everyone in the Lexus of Smithtown family certainly know how to treat a customer. From the owner to the service department, I have nothing but accolades for the entire team at this dealership. More
My husband and I leased an ES and an IS from Lexus of Smithtown in 2009. We loved our cars and we loved the service we got from Lexus of Smithtown. When it came time to replace the cars, there was no question as to the dealership we were going to go to. As was the case in 2009, Sales Manager, Robert Rossworn, worked with us to find the cars that we wanted. At all times, he was very personable, polite, cooperative and helpful. At no time did we feel pressured and we always felt that Bob had our best interests in mind. This time we each got a 2013 ES. Finance Manager,Delores Russell, is an extremely well-organized person who made all the complicated paperwork for the dealership, the insurance company and the DMV very easy for us. Abbas Rajani, the Client Care Manger, answered our technical questions on the navigation system and we know we can contact him if we have questions in the future. Frank Loviglio, one of the Sales/Leasing Consultants, was very patient and took time to explain all the new features to us the day that we picked up our cars. Prior to buying our ES 350 we visited several other new car dealerships. All of the Smithtown Lexus employees we had contact with (beginning with the receptionist who greeted us when we entered the showro car dealerships. All of the Smithtown Lexus employees we had contact with (beginning with the receptionist who greeted us when we entered the showroom to the person in the service bay who answered a question for us about our existing 2003 Lexus ES 300 and everyone in-between whose names we can't recall) were friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. Charles Greene, our sales consultant, made us feel comfortable with Lexus of Smithtown from the moment he introduced himself. He patiently answered our questions and explained the various options. When it came to deciding on a color, he walked us outside to see the colors in "real life." And when we were undecided between two colors, he moved one of the cars next to the other so that we could compare. The price was what we were expecting. Charles made the buying experience extremely pleasant. When it came time for the final paperwork, Dolores Russell pointed out the additional options available without trying to push any of them on us. We knew the ones we wanted and Dolores rearranged an existing package to include everything we wanted (plus one additional item) for less than the total cost of the individual items we originally said we wanted. All-in-all we had an extremely pleasant buying experience, and we would definitely recommend Lexus of Smithtown and Charles Greene to our friends and family. More
