Joe was terrific. My Husband and I had looked at several different cars at several dealerships. When we walked in to Lexus, as busy as it was we waited less than 5 minutes. We asked for several different leasing and purchase options and Joe patiently went through each scenario and gave us options. We really hadn’t planned on buying that night but much to our surprise we ended purchasing. We got the car we wanted at a fair price and Joe was wonderfully accommodating. There was never any pressure to buy. Once we had all the paper work done Joe introduced us to Dolores who worked out our leasing agreement. She too was professional and extremely helpful. Ken went above and beyond, being VERY patient explaining all the intricacies of our Lexus, and then detailing extra advantages and workings of the vehicle. Rajani, the Lexus Technical Specialist. I have the car three months and have been meaning to make an appointment with Abbas, but never did. When I received the invitation on my email, I made an appointment. Abbas sat in my car with me and told me things that were not in the manual. He made and told me how to make some adjustments on my Navigation system. Abbas has the knowledge and patience to work with someone with me who is not computer savy. He was very helpful. I will, in the near future, make another appointment with Abbas to go over other areas we did not have time to do yesterday. I couldn't stay there all day. Thank you Abbas for your help. As with most other Lexus dealerships, the place itself was first class, with the added benefit of Godiva dipped chocolate cookies and massages.The actual negotiating experience was one of the most "pleasant" ones I have ever had when purchasing a new car. Of course, there was some give and take and they certainly are no pushovers.But they did not start off at the ridiculously high quotes that many other dealers do. And there was no "you better purchase right now" because these rates won't last or this is a very hot car and they are difficult to get so you better leave your deposit. None of those insulting games that we all have been subjected to. My car was delivered as promised with no surprise additional costs. I cannot guarantee that you will all have the delightful experience I did at Lexus of Smithtown,I could only relay to you about mine.
