Visited the dealership today. Looking for a Camero SS hoping to test drive. I was immediately greeted by reception, and referred to a sales rep. I explained what I was looking for; I custom built a 2024 online, and I am ready to hit the go button on the order. But, wanted to test drive a SS before submitting my purchase order. (As well, visit select a dealer and rep that I’m comfortable doing business with.) I was willing to test drive an automatic or manual transmission. (Specifically looking to purchase a manual transmission.) She does a quick database search. Finds there are no manual transmissions SS on the lot. Then, I inquired about the SS automatic on the lot. She casually deflected and suggested that maybe its better that I go next-door to the competitor. She does a quick search for their database. There are no manual transmissions SS over there either. She makes a few more suggestions and then I departed. My only question is; Is there a policy against test driving ?? She was helpful at not being helpful!!!! Don’t judge a book by its cover. Thanks for wasting my time. More

I purchased a vehicle which still had 3 oil changes remaining , but I was told it was now out of the service contract after I was assured that it would be honored when I purchased the vehicle.
