It took only submitting my credit App, & discussing when I wanted to pick it up! I was able to trade in my 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid (with 170k miles), & I receive financing that day. The experience with people who give 2 S$&^!'s about helping you makes the experience worth it! Specifically, the finance guy William Stepney Jr, & sales rep George Scott were so amazing, IDK why they aren't featured in magazines for what a car dealership experience is supposed to be like. It was quick, efficient, and wasted no time getting me out with the car I dreamed of having. Now I have a vehicle worth paying for and driving. They put a lot of effort and consideration into giving me the best financing deal and sitting me down to discuss how to improve my credit for future purchases. I will gladly refer and return later to purchase something else from these people! I'm sure you want the true details. I called ahead to check on availability and asked if their online trade in calculator was accurate. I was told it was but often could be low if the car was in excellent shape. It was exceptional, having been purchased 3 week earlier. This was the first lie. The agreed price was 3000 higher but still reasonable, given their lower mileage, 1 year newer vehicle with $5000 more in accessories. I told them up front that I DO NOT BUY extended warranties. I had a hand written offer that they accepted. I had given them the details of my existing loan and my bank phone and contact info. I was going to simply pay the difference by check. He gave me a copy of all the paperwork on a thumbdrive that I discovered was empty or corrupted when I got home. I was forced to finance with them because they failed to call my bank to confirm the loan and my checking account balance. I was not going to invest another 540 miles in a return trip. 10 days later, I got the loan info from their bank. The amount was nearly $8000 higher than the agreed price. The extended warranty they "threw in" was about $5600 AND they charged me 23% sales tax. Foolish me, trusting a car salesman. It took about 3 agonizing weeks to straighten this out. I believe that they only agreed to the original deal was out of fear of fraud charges on the sales tax. They called the whole issue a simple misunderstanding but refused to divulge who misunderstood what. DO NOT BUY AS MUCH AS A KEYCHAIN AT THIS DEALERSHIP. The salesman, Tim, was just OK but the manager and finance manager (George) were barefaced liars. More
