I wish I had read some of these reviews before looking to purchase a gray, 2013 Toyota Highlander Limited V6 AWD, Mileage 102,268, one owner with no accidents, VIN 5TDDK3EH2DS214857 Stock No. DS214857 Purcha purchase a gray, 2013 Toyota Highlander Limited V6 AWD, Mileage 102,268, one owner with no accidents, VIN 5TDDK3EH2DS214857 Stock No. DS214857 Purchase Price $11,911. If I could post images to share I would. The first offer they made was $16.020.54 and included an APEX Protection Package for $899 and Toyota Service $1,850 in addition to sales tax and other miscellaneous fees. I explained that I did not need their protection plane or Toyota Service and was then offered the vehicle at $16,751.98 which removed the APEX Protection Package but increased the Toyota Service to $3,434.18. I asked why the increase and was told the vehicle had not been put through service and was put online last night. The salesman, Tyron, I was working with said, “This vehicle was posted online early as we just got it as a trade in last night. We are making sure the vehicle is going to be in perfect mechanical condition which is why we are charging the Toyota Service. Because of the cost of what we are doing to fix the car, that is our best number.” I appreciate that Keating Toyota wants to sell cars in good mechanical condition, but they really should stand behind their price and get it right before posting it online. Tyron said, “The price has been raised and will reflect tomorrow.” The price now says “Uncertain?” next to the posted $11,911.00. Buyers beware!! This dealership is in the business of adding charges to increase their bottom line! More

I make an appointment with Keeting Toyota to bring my 2022 Sienna back in to check the battery since they are going out a lot and each time I have to jump-start it. For the last service I have them check 2022 Sienna back in to check the battery since they are going out a lot and each time I have to jump-start it. For the last service I have them check it but still happened the same, that's why I make another appointment for it. Went in for an appointment and talk with a lady advisor named Ashley Weekes. I was told that they need a few hours to work on it. A few hours to work on a battery is ridiculous, but I still leave it for them and have them shuttle me back to my house. A few hours went by around noon. I saw they leave it in their parking lot for an hour. I called the dealer and asked to speak with Ashley. She told me that when they test it the battery was normal. And told me next time when the car dies I have to tow it to the dealership so they can test it again, assuming it will be out of pocket to tow over there. I then tell her just replace it and I will pay out of pocket for the battery since they are denied the warranty. She's quoted me for somewhere around $150, I'm telling her it's ok just replace it for me. Then a couple of hours went by, and she's call me back around 2:40 pm and said the battery was $270 and she quoted me wrong. Took her over 2 hours to let me know she give me the wrong quote. I’m kind of upset at that time but still allow them to do it. Took them more than an hour to put a new battery in and have my car out around 4 pm. When I tell her I would not come back there again because of her, she told me you are welcome to do so, and that they do not need my business. Don't know what kind of training they give to assistant service managers for that kind of behavior. What Keating Toyota fail to do is 1/ Last service nobody told me I have to tow my car in for them to check and not jumpstart it. 2/ My car was sitting in the parking lot for over 2 hours but received no update whatsoever from Ashley. Until I called in, and she’s making xxxxxxx excuses like they want to let the battery drain out. She could have to call me and tell me the situation and maybe I'm not as mad. 3/ took Ashley over 2 hours again to let the customer know they were quoted the wrong price. Which is ridiculous. 4/ Dealer refusing to honor the warranty of a new car that is purchased directly from them is very bad business practice. 5/ Took them 8 hours to work on the battery is even more ridiculous. From 8 am when I get there till 4 pm when I drive out. 6/Fail to train their staff. If anyone wants to stop by for service I advise not to come to this dealer. Buying a car from them is a bad experience (already have a review on Google and Bbb) then get treated like xxxx when come back for service. More
I had a really great experience at Keating Toyota. The moment I parked into the dealership I was greeted by Shawn. I was so amazed at how he came right up to us and asked what he could help us with. I The moment I parked into the dealership I was greeted by Shawn. I was so amazed at how he came right up to us and asked what he could help us with. I had gone to a few other Toyota dealerships in the area and no one even approached me. So when Shawn did this it made me very happy. I told him what I was looking for and he and Michael showed me a few vehicles. I told them my budget and I ended up test driving a sexy red Highlander fully loaded. Long story short I got back from test driving it filled out my application and everything went smooth and quickly. Even when I went to finance with LG, he explained everything to me and told me what packages I could add. I actually had to leave and come back since I had a prior appointment I had to go too. Once back I finished where I left off and I was on my way. Thank you guys so much for the great experience.. More
Do not shop this Dealership! ! If I could rate this place less than one star I would. Drove by today to look at a vehicle I had seen online. As soon as I'm driving in a young Hisp ! If I could rate this place less than one star I would. Drove by today to look at a vehicle I had seen online. As soon as I'm driving in a young Hispanic guy walks across my driving path and makes me stop so I don't hit him. Seeing that he was a sales guy I asked him to move and drove by. Needless to say that within two minutes this guy and his "Manager" are literally following me around in a golf cart. I finally stop to see a vehicle, and they are yelling at me though my drivers side window. I rolled down my window and they proceeded to hound me about help. They would not leave me alone after I asked over five times that I was just looking and didn't need help!! It got to the point where I just told them to leave me alone or I would just leave. The manager then told me "leave then". So I drove off. As I'm leaving I saw the vehicle I initially came to see and go to it. Well don't you know, within a minute the same salesperson is walking my direction hounding me again!! I told him to move away and he refused. I will never step foot at this dealership ever again. Never felt so uncomfortable in my life!! Do not recommend to anyone. I never do / make reviews like this, but this was ridiculous!! More
Terrible. We negotiated a price on a new vehicle and my wife signed in person. I was out of town so I had to come in a couple of days later to sign. When I ask We negotiated a price on a new vehicle and my wife signed in person. I was out of town so I had to come in a couple of days later to sign. When I asked about the protection plan that we had purchased I was told that it had been taken off to get the price down to where we had agreed. They never told us that the protection plan coverage would be reduced with our new price. The paperwork for the original package of protections was “Apex Protection Package” but they switched it on the final document that we signed to “Apex”, again with no indication that anything about what we were buying was changing. Sly move by untrustworthy people. I will never buy a car from this dealership again. We worked with Americo, Lee Ware, and Ben DiBlasio the manager. When I talked to another manager about it (Matt) he said sorry but the deal was done. More
My experience with Keating Toyota was bad. The person who sold me my Tahoe initially was great. But unfortunately the management seem like they had no interest handing my issue. Going into fin The person who sold me my Tahoe initially was great. But unfortunately the management seem like they had no interest handing my issue. Going into finance I learned that I was purchasing a warranty that covered bumper to bumper. It's prior to that there assured me that it was a full inspection on the vehicle and it passed. Two weeks later I figured out that the shocks had a leak in it. I did a little bit of research and the compressor should not be gone off as much as it was. I also asked i Chevrolet to confirm that and they said I was correct. I took it back considering it has been only one week in my possession, but the service department explain to me that they do not have the technology to look at this vehicle. OK it's toyota I get it. So I physically take it too Gulf Coast Chevrolet And claim the warranty. Shortly after they contacted me and say there wasn't covered. Mind you they told me it covered everything. So I took it back to Toyota's explaining what was going on and they basically said that it was nothing they can do about it because I already bought the vehicle and it was used. It was as if they did not care, I've already bought the vehicle and they made a money. Then they try to sit down with me and coach me into thinking nothing was wrong with my vehicle. Like I'm stupid. They took my vehicles to the back and the techs couldn't find nothing. I can literally stick my hand in the back of my wheel and feel that the rubber bladder of my rear air suspension was not fully inflated. As the air compressor was running, air was seeping out of the back of my truck. Clearly there is a leak and it should not be operating like that. So I went ahead and fixed it myself. Now after all this is done I call to fulfill some of the other warranties I purchased. Radio silence. I have messages call several times to set an appointment and no one calls back. I guess they have all their awards and i'm just another sale. SMH. If the salesman goes to another dealership, I will buy from him. But as far as my wife and my son in the future, We'll just go to Gulf Coast. More
Keating is the worst dealership I have ever encounter. The dealership is plagued with crooks in the sales department and the Service Department. I’ve been lied to ever since I started dealing with them. The dealership is plagued with crooks in the sales department and the Service Department. I inquired about purchasing a new toyota camry with this business. I states the facts and what we were looking for. I specifically told them I am far away and I do not any games, gimmicks or hidden things. business. I states the facts and what we were looking for. I specifically told them I am far away and I do not any games, gimmicks or hidden things. I just want honest information. The first person to reach out ignored my questions and request for information and just gave me the classic "just come in and see the car, we will figure it out". Even after restating I am 6 hours away.... The "Manager" reach out after and again ignored my very specific request and decided to give me information on a USED car that the dealership owns for more than a new one and tried to pass off as "NEW". 33k for "NEW" vs their own actual new ones for 29-31k... Shady business practices, ignored specific request, completely disrespectful. More
Horrible experience dealing with this dealership and the GM/Part owner/operator Anson Jones. Typical bait and switch. Advertised his personal vehicle (Porsche) on their website then raised the price $10K af GM/Part owner/operator Anson Jones. Typical bait and switch. Advertised his personal vehicle (Porsche) on their website then raised the price $10K after a deal was written up. We then negotiated a price (still higher than original advertised price) and when I questioned some of the fees on the buyer's order and why no application for an out of state title, radio silence. He decided, he didn't want to sell the car to me anymore. We walked away from a $140,000 car over $650 or so in fees that they couldn't or wouldn't explain to me. Poor communications from their finance Manager Brian Perez. Very disappointing that they didn't allow me to inquire about fees , as an out-of state cash buyer on a very pricey vehicle. More
