I was treated so poorly at Mossy Toyota that I was in tears and felt as though I made a big mistake buying a new car, yet alone a Toyota. After going to Kearny Mesa Toyota and they fixed the problem as well as went above and beyond I actually hugged Charles. Matt has worked with me several times and has always treated me so well and taken care of me. I talk about them ALL the time and love them! More
I went to the dealer for a recall repair (the infamous accelerator on the Prius, although I've never had any trouble with it), but also needed to have a few items repaired under my almost-expired 100K war accelerator on the Prius, although I've never had any trouble with it), but also needed to have a few items repaired under my almost-expired 100K warranty, as well as a small service done. Oscar greeted me, quickly set up the paperwork and made sure I understood which items would be covered by the warranty and which ones I would have to pay for (no surprises there). Because a part was not available until the next day, Oscar asked if they can keep the car overnight (while I was given a free rental car), so that was fine. The work was done professionally and quickly, I never waited more than 1-2 minutes for anyone to assist me. Great experience! More

I bought the car from this dealer in 2003 but later took it to Mossy as they were closer to home. That was unsatisfactory so I returned to Kearney. He made a comment on the check list that he couldn't find the wheel lock and that just shows how lazy he was; he couldn't make the effort to contact us knowing I was waiting in the lounge for service to be done. The purchasing process was long and painful….never had such a draining experience. Coverage that is standard on other leasing agreements (like GAP) is additional here so be sure to ask for all costs, your final monthly payment will be the sum or your quote plus some additional charges. If they don’t have the car on stock and will trade it, make sure to get a copy of the car specifications. I got a different car than the one originally offered, after negotiating price and spending a lot of time and effort on this deal I end up receiving a different product (not all the features I was promised). They said I was confused and that this one feature was not included in the car, but I’m 100% sure it was I just couldn’t prove it since I did not receive written specifications. Again make sure to have a written copy if you decide to buy a car that is not available. I did not found out until I had sign all papers and was ready to drive home. It was at delivery that I found out the car was not what I have been promised, because I was exhausted and had invested so much time in the deal I did not cancel but I should have, not getting what you are promised it’s an scam! Total lack of business ethic! If you decide to go and they trade please ask for a copy of the vehicle specifications so this doesn’t happen to you. Also you should do some research first, they will not offer to you any of the Toyota deals unless you ask for them. More
This is the first time I have ever bought a car from a dealership, so I came into this process without any bias towards dealers, good or bad. With that said, my experience was extremely positive with the pros at Mossy Toyota, particularly Larry Paris. Call and ask for him by name, he will take good care of you. There was no hidden agenda and I felt everyone I dealt with was genuine and sincere. Although I don't plan on buying another Toyota for a very long time (knock on wood), I highly recommend the team at Mossy Toyota. More
