From the moment I first entered the dealership through the purchase of the car a few days later, this was a great experience. Robert Fox, who helped us, was courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Everyone else from the dealership that we interacted with was the same way; pleasant and helpful. And, oh yeah, we love the car. More
abuse and deception -5 stars awful attempt to by a Camry Draper I had a horrible 2 day ordeal at Karl Malone Toyota. My daughter had found a camry that she liked and my wife wa awful attempt to by a Camry Draper I had a horrible 2 day ordeal at Karl Malone Toyota. My daughter had found a camry that she liked and my wife was quoted $5900 I took time off work to have it checked by my mechanic and came back to talk. he noted my concerns and the $5990 he had previously quoted on his negotiation sheet. after the obligatory wait he came back saying not only could they not honor the quote but it would be $9990 the edmunds number for the car is $6100 for great condition this car is decent at best. I told Matt i was disappointed we had been deceived and he had wasted a significant about of my time and walked out. I came back a few minutes later and asked for the general Manager i was directed to the sales manager who didn't even bother to step out of his bull pen he not only didn't even attempt to apologize for the deception but proceeded to berate me using foul language to impress his peers. . I went in with decent expectations of dealing with a reputable business. I will not be going back I could go to low book sales if I wanted abuse and deception. More

Management in a fake and lying way acted like they could fix the issues but did not and deceived me. 4. This is a horrible place to buy a vehicle. I was taken advantage of by their finance by explaining a expensive warranty in a way that seemed needed. when I attempted to resolve the issue after I read the documents sent to me I was put off and never called back. I left at least 7 voicemails and was repeatedly put directly to voicemail on every call. When I tried to speak to others in finance I was told I had to speak to Ryan who was the person I had work with. after weeks of no response and continued avoidance I signed the documents with fear I would not get my plates sent to me in time. 5 days after I had sent the paper work back I received a very robotic like voicemail (don't recall the actual call even coming through ) saying "Give me call if you need to" I was then bombarded by the new sales guy about a $500.00 down payment that was not collected when I was there. They didn't collect it when the sale was made and I had forgotten about it. I had felt so screwed over by them that I didn't rush to call him back. I also didn't have the money on hand anymore. Tyler then called my employer so I called him back. I explained everything to him and he acted like he cared but didn't. He put me on with his manager who then told me he would be able to cancel the warranty and said sorry nobody called me back or helped. He also said that the amount he could refund was based on mileage and that since I lived so far away i could do it when I was back in the Salt Lake valley. Then I was again called and texted repeatedly by Tyler again. I told him I could come in soon when I had to go to a Dr appointment nearby on the 4th. only 5 days away. Then he tells me it has to be done by the end of the month. I told him I was told differently by Brandon his manager. He was like "oh" I asked to speak to Brandon and after awhile he was "available" I reminded him of what he had told me and he says. "Oh I was just trying to get more back" which didn't make sense at all. Which is it Brandon time or mileage? Lets just be honest please. I'm sure they were just trying to get their checks increased for the end of the month or something. I could go on and on about how deceptive and they are and not trust worthy. The vehicle they sold me was not even worth what they had said. I was new to the whole dealership scene and they knew it. I learned valuable lesson here and hope nobody else gets taken advantage of More
The Mailman Did NOT Deliver When I first visited for a required service, my service writer Dustin was not in, so someone else took my keys and said that they would make sure tha When I first visited for a required service, my service writer Dustin was not in, so someone else took my keys and said that they would make sure that he got a hold of me and let me know why the light was on and what was going on. No one ever called me, so I called back the next day and the receptionist told me my car was ready and that I could get my keys from the cashier. The cashier didn't know what work was done, handed me the key and the service invoice, and sent me on my way. Dustin never called me to say the car was ready. No one ever went through the car with me to tell me why the light was on or what was done. The service invoice showed an oil change, but I didn't see anything else that went wrong or was inspected. A few days after the service I received a survey and left a low score saying that although work was done, no one ever talked to me about what was done, and I was moved through the system like a number. I had a prepaid maintenance plan, so because it was a $0 service, no one felt that they needed to respond. I went through every detail of the experience through the survey and took the time to explain why they got the scores that I gave them. I was called by Dustin after giving the poor survey and as some form of apology, he offered to detail my car in the spring. I told him that would be fine and that I just needed some communication in the future if I am planning to continue servicing my car there. A few weeks ago or so I decided that I would call Dustin to schedule the promised detail. I left a voicemail and never heard back. I waited a few days then left another message. No response. After a few messages that were never returned, my maintenance light came on again, and I figured that it was probably time for an oil change, so now I really needed to get in and have the car serviced as well as detailed. I called and left another voicemail last Friday, but it was never responded to. Monday I called and although he had the day off, I asked him to be sure and call me Tuesday so that I could have the service done. Big surprise, he never called me. I left 4 messages and none of them were ever returned. Wednesday Morning I called Larry Miller Toyota in Murray, and they did not transfer me to a voicemail, they put me on the phone with a service writer directly. He offered to do the service that day and called an uber for me. They did a complimentary inspection and went through everything with me. The service writer even gave me his cell phone number and told me to text him or call him directly with any questions at all. He made the entire service very easy and with no waiting. I am VERY disappointed to know that I can't rely on the dealership that is right down my street, but I will happily take my car to the dealer that wants my business. More

They went out of their way to find the vehicle, make, model, color, and year I was looking for. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. Nick Fisco answered all my questions, ensured everything in the car was working, and washed the mats from my previous car (they fit in the new one, my previous car was totaled in auto accident). Akim Torkornoo were helpful and Akim made sure I had the best interest rate when financing the vehicle and made the paperwork and fly by like a breeze. More

Out of it came a bunch of suggestions for service and repairs from oil leak here, and a bearing replacement there, and "you need a new air filter". I took the car home and opened up the air filter compartment on top of the engine and removed the air filter before putting the new one in that I bought at Autozone for half the cost. When I removed the old air filter, I found about 24 ounces of apricot pits. I am not saying they put them in, but I am saying they couldn't have checked the air filter. On top they made repair suggestions totaling over $1000. When I took the car to a second opinion, the mechanic said he can't find anything wrong with the car. As a result I stopped going to Karl Malone Toyota for any service matters. I ended up buying a brand new RAV4 at Brent Browns, which are not a bit better. These dealers are all the same sleazy crooks. It's a xxxx shame. More
