It did not seem like the service department cared the work was not completed and I had to take time to come back. In complete service, rework, bad time estimating and my time and schedule really not a concern. More

They actually follow up and call when they say they are going to call. They are friendly and know what they're doing. An issue with a $70 part that had taken over a year dealing with Brent Brown Toyota was resolved in a matter of minutes at Karl Malone Toyota. More
Unimpressed by their sales sale representative that sold us a vehicle. They did not know anything about the vehicle or service details. 👎 I would be more inclined to come back if there was more attention us a vehicle. On our 2nd visit, after we had reached an agreement on a vehicle and were moving forward, the manager came out from the back ready to start arguing with us. He told us that he had changed his mind and was raising the price by $1000. He was rude, unwilling to listen to questions my husband and I had, and absolutely awful to talk to. I was appalled by how we were treated by him. My husband and I aren't looking for a fight when we go to purchase a car. We also have never had a dealership agree to a deal to then come back and say they want more money. Save yourself a lot of time and go to one of the many other Toyota dealerships around. This place is awful More
Kaila Mitchell was awesome. Went to another Toyota place in Orem and pointed out a problem with my 2018 4 Runner where I bought it (And my previous 4 Runner) They only wanted to do routine maintenance. I t in Orem and pointed out a problem with my 2018 4 Runner where I bought it (And my previous 4 Runner) They only wanted to do routine maintenance. I then took it to Karl Malone and found Kaila. I explained my issue and she took control. Flowing my routine maintenance she set a time for me to return and put an order in for the part. The following week I was back with the issue taken care of. Because of Kaila when I trade this vehicle in I will go back to Karl Malone. And also, I decided to upgrade my 08 Tundra and spent $4000 in their accessories department. To many expecting an exceptional grade comes from asking for it with not doing anything for it. To Kaila exceptional service comes from listening to the customer and working for it. Thanks Kaila for taking care of me and going above and beyond to earn your exceptional service. More
Always get an independent inspection. I was duped. ALWAYS GET AN INDEPENDENT INSPECTION. Aaron Clark at Karl Malone Toyota sold me a car that he said “passed inspection with flying colors.” Being t ALWAYS GET AN INDEPENDENT INSPECTION. Aaron Clark at Karl Malone Toyota sold me a car that he said “passed inspection with flying colors.” Being that I don’t live in Utah and was buying the vehicle from a Toyota dealership, I sadly took this statement as fact. After paying a premium for the vehicle (rare to find with low miles & excellent condition), the maintenance required light came on. Aaron told me to take it to a dealership or a trusted mechanic. Well, turns out the vehicle needed a new timing belt (rotted), both CV boots replaced (leaking), and a new rack and pinion steering system (also leaking). On top of that, the fluids were soiled and the vehicle has rust in its early/mid stages underneath. The repairs have cost me $4194.00!! When I called Aaron and told him (also sent him repair paperwork and pictures of the parts that needed repair), he said not to worry and that they would make things right, and that they were “not that kind of business.” Well, turns out Karl Malone Toyota IS that kind of business. I was nothing but cordial with them and tried to come to an amicable resolution. When they were only willing to offer me a couple hundred dollars, I succumbed to the realization I had been duped by Karl Malone Toyota using the oldest trick in the book. Oh, what a feeling! In hindsight, I am however thankful that Karl Malone Toyota has taught me (and hopefully others reading this) some valuable life lessons. Folks, always get an independent inspection; you cannot trust what people tell you - especially a dealership, and especially Karl Malone Toyota. These lessons have cost people much more than the money, stress, and time I paid during this whole ordeal, so I guess I’m lucky in a way. I do love the car though! BONUS: There’s more to the story, if you’re interested. After I offered a deposit to secure the vehicle, Aaron told me that the vehicle (the one I ended up buying) had been sold. The next day, Aaron called to tell me that the husband of the woman who bought the vehicle had taken it back to the dealership that morning, and said his wife had a habit of buying cars. So the vehicle was available again. At the time, I thought it was my lucky day. Looking back, this sounds shady because you can’t return used cars in Utah. Secondly, while I was waiting for the paperwork to be drawn up, I looked over the used car inspection that Aaron had given me. On the last page it said, “the following work was recommended but not performed: CV Axle Boots.” When I pointed this out, Aaron told me they were fine and that recommendation just comes up because of the car’s age. Since the car was 12 years old BUT only had 56k miles, I took him at his word. Fast forward two months later to today, I have filed a BBB complaint and also had a lawyer draw up a demand letter, seeking to be made whole, to no avail. Karl Malone Toyota’s final offer ended up being $1000 to go away and not complain about my experience. I was insulted by the offer and therefore did NOT accept. I’m pondering litigation but also holding out some hope they still might do the right thing. ALWAYS GET AN INDEPENDENT INSPECTION! More
