I stopped by on Monday to test drive a Prius, then brought my husband back on Wednesday to test drive it too. We ended up looking at used cars and Michael gave us great advice on our options. He was patient as we test drove additional cars and looked at our options. We bought a used Camry that we are thrilled with, especially considering it was not even at our radar when we began car shopping around the Salt Lake valley. Thanks to Michael and Karl Malone Toyota, we have a great car that we absolutely love! More

My daughter and son in-law went to Karl Malone Toyota in South Jordan/Draper on 118th and I-15 on Saturday and they trade his car in for a Prius. They are closing on a new house next week and got nervous about getting the car this week. They called the dealership and talked to them about it. They had been very understanding and supportive when they bought it and said "bring it back" if you change your mind blah blah. Well they decided to take it back and of course they were within the state law of the 3 day right of recession. Jason the salesman was a complete jerk. They hassled my son in-law for 30 minutes trying to make him feel guilty. We explained that next month when the dust had settled they would use him again and get the car. The dealership finally gave in and brought my son in-law his car. Two weeks ago he had some minor body work done on the front fender and the car was in immaculate condition. When he got the car it had been heavily keyed done both sides. I kid you not I can't believe the damage they did they called and spoke to the general manager and complained. He said well we have cameras and my daughter said I am sure they won't show anything. But there will be a police report and legal action. Manager said I am done talking to you have your lawyer called our lawyer and he laughed. Now these are young kids who are easy to take advantage of and didn't know any better. Although we don't have proof and it would be a tough thing to prove in court. But Momma has a lot of friends and a big mouth, lol. Want to share out story with anyone in the market for a car or truck, avoid this dealership. Worse than most! Avoid them at all costs. Feel free to share my experience with anyone you care about so they don't get screwed over too. More
All went down hill after test driving a Toyota Tundra. The offer was 1000 more than a sales manager offered me the day before. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the guys name but if they found the salesman I spoke with he would have known who the sales manager was. They said they wouldn't even sale it for that price in the first place. Finally, I decided to get the truck. On the test drive we asked about a full tank of gas and a two year oil change that other dealerships have offered. He said yes we can do anything you want. They supposedly detailed the car and I signed the paper work. The sales manager said the theft protection for 299$ was an option and I told the finance man I didn't want it. The paper that had the final price on it didn't have the theft protection on it. He said it's not on here you don't have it. After looking over my documents. I found it. I did pay for it. The store was closed we got in the truck in the show room it was dark couldn't see much. Asked about the full tank of gas. Oh, we only do that on new cars and no oil maintenance program unless you purchase it. Half way home which is two hours, I saw the maintenance required light on which I saw when we test drove it but got distracted and forgot to ask about. My bad. My dad convinced me it was ok they had done the 160 point check and maintenance on it and forgot to clear the code. JThe next day we were going to take the family on a drive stopped and got gas. My dad checked the oil to make me feel better. Barely 4 mm oil on the dipstick. Had to put two quarts of oil in it. The day after I bought it. I looked at the 160 point inspection check sheet for oil.... change oil and filter marked as needed. So, they do the inspection but they don't do anything about it. My first time buying a vehicle. I didn't think to turn the inspection page over when I signed it. I thought it was one page. I drove the truck to the dealership and showed them the dash board was covered with dust, the center console had dirt on it which I wiped and showed the salesman the dirt on my finger and the coin tray was dirty with white stuff in it. Which he had cleaned right then. The bluetooth didn't work. I can get phone calls and the BT reads what song is playing on my phone. But no music volume. We tried my galaxy 4s, my brothers phone that is 3 years old, and an I phone. No success. The salesperson (who is a good guy) tried but couldn't figure it out. Finally, said it's because the truck is a 2012 and my galaxy 4s is to new and the bt is not compatible with it. My friend tried fixing the bluetooth and found on the karl malone website that the tundra is compatible with the Galaxy 4s. Still isn't fixed. Moral of the story. . . I will never buy a vehicle from Karl Malone Toyota again. It's pretty important to sell a vehicle with oil in it. The detail job was disappointing, and overall not a pleasant experience. When buying a car you should be happy, not feel sick to your stomach with buyers remorse. More

My expectations have been exceeded at Karl Malone Toyota. Mike McDonald in sales jumped through hoops to find me the exact model and color Tundra I wanted during a time when they were hard to come by. He spent time showing me all the bells and whistles and bought me a set of floor mats with his own money. He saw me in line for an oil change once, ran over to me and the service agent, and had the service team wash my truck for me. Mike is just all around good people and I recommend him to everyone! Today I had my Tundra in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Nathan Parker checked me in, and I told him I noticed the tire light on the dash was on. In less than an hour the service was done, at which time he informed me that the rear tire had a nail in it and that they had fixed it - for free! If you appreciate this kind of first class sales and service, then you owe it to yourself to visit Karl Malone Toyota! More

Everyone and I mean everyone at Karl Malone Toyota is so friendly. From the gentlemen who sold us our Prius down to the guys in the service department we have always had a great experience at Karl Malone. T friendly. There is plenty of comfy waiting couches, free drinks and popcorn...my son LOVES coming to get the car serviced...and at 11 he can be a tough customer lol! I am always impressed with the level of customer service they have...everyone is always smiling and asks if you need anything. We get our car back in better condition than when we drop it off every time. From the complimentary car wash to topping off all my fluids and checking my tires, when I get back into my car it feels like the first day we bought it all over again!!! The service was excellent. I scheduled the appointment online and it was easy. I pulled in and was immediately helped and taken care of.
