Toyota Rav4 with 83K mi taken to Jones with a blown engine (this was only an estimate) since it was based on visual inspection. They did all the service work from day one but could not explain cause engine (this was only an estimate) since it was based on visual inspection. They did all the service work from day one but could not explain cause of engine problem, but said this should not have happened. They said the manufacturer would be asked to chip in some of the costs to fix the problem but after 2 whole days they got nowhere with that idean. Leaving me in flux and my back to the wall to pay $5K or so for a new engine (their estimate)I asked them to buy the car as they could fix it much more cheaply tham me. They first offered me $5,300 and after much back and forth between the 2 managers they eventually gave me $ 7,000 . I purchased my last 2 cars from Jones beginning in 2003 and believed I was considered "family" in dealings with them. Since my RAV4 was worth between $ 10,000 and $ 12,000 I suffered a significant loss due to Jones not pursuing Toyota for help which they promised to do. There was no reason for the engine problem due to the frequent oil changes and other services done at Jones during the 4 yrs and 4 months I drove the car. I am not sure but I suspect Toyota was later contacted and offered financial help to fix the engine ?? More
John Hightower was very friendly, no pressure. He addressed our concerns in a sincere manner.He was very concerned with meeting our needs. Went to the dealership needing several items looked at. Service Associate took all the info and offered to have someone drive me home if I didn't want to wait. I wanted to at least see what the pricing wou Service Associate took all the info and offered to have someone drive me home if I didn't want to wait. I wanted to at least see what the pricing would be and within 30 minutes he called me back to the service area and walked me thru each line item the mechanic had reviewed/written down. Back out front for a price run down and again an offer to get a ride home. Called me laet in the day (twice) with updates and told me he would try to get me a loaner for the next day if I didn't want to come back right at closing. Decided to wait it out though and upon arriving back later that evening the car was ready, the service associate and the mechanic were there to walk me thru everything done and get me back on the road. A VERY large bill but it was expected for the amount of work I had done. I only say a large amount of work to compare it to the services rendered. As I was getting back in my vehicle I thought to myself it was money .... well spent. More
Robert made my buying experience a pleasure. Robert and the sales manager (forgot his name) were easy to deal with and got me the price I wanted on the truck I wanted. He gave me a tour of the service facility, showed me where to go for my car washes, how the service department drop off procedure worked. Basically Robert made sure I knew everything I would need to know about my new vehicle and how to get it serviced before I left with my new truck. More
Everyone we dealt with at Jones Junction Toyota were very friendly. They were willing to answer any questions we had and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Adam extended every courtesy possible and worked diligently to make the deal that met all of our requirements.
