Overall, a great experience... my girls got their nails done and we had a hot dog and popcorn for lunch. The 4Runner is awesome and the sales folks were very easy to work with and responsive. The only - done and we had a hot dog and popcorn for lunch. The 4Runner is awesome and the sales folks were very easy to work with and responsive. The only - minor - concern that I had was that the floor mats and users manual were not in stock so I had to wait and go back for them. More
I decided to start looking for a new vehicle because my 2002 Toyota Avalon, which still ran great, had almost 180K miles. My husband & I wanted to test drive a Highlander. Everyone at Jones', especially 2002 Toyota Avalon, which still ran great, had almost 180K miles. My husband & I wanted to test drive a Highlander. Everyone at Jones', especially Jerry, our salesperson, and Tom, sales manager, were friendly, courteous, & helpful. Jerry listened to what we wanted in a vehicle, answered all our questons, made suggestions, & was patient, not high pressure. My husband & I decided to also test drive a RAV4 and really liked it. Jerry & Tom were able to find us a RAV4 Limited with the color and options we wanted at a price we were willing to pay. It was a pleasure to do business with them. Due to us keeping our vehicles for a LONG time, "Jones for a lifetime" was also a factor in our decision to buy from this dealership. We would recommend this dealership. More
Went to purchase my first new car, and John was very helpful in showing me different models, explaining the differences and options, and offering his advice. The finance guy, Chip (I forget his last nam helpful in showing me different models, explaining the differences and options, and offering his advice. My toyota was in for regular service and ended up needing to get a rental because they said my car needed to have a recall in which they didn't have the part that the recall called for, so ended up having to to get a rental because they said my car needed to have a recall in which they didn't have the part that the recall called for, so ended up having to go with enterprise because they didn't have any of there rental available to rent that was fine, what wasn't fine was the fact Jones still charged me for the rental which wasn't fair since they are to give free loaner's regardless that it was enterprise's. Plus the car was not fixed, I had to take it to a more helpful dealership that did indeed fix my car. Plus I have a friend that says that they add rental charges to other people's service invoices as misc. charges and gets away doing so. The service writer was rude by texting on his phone when I was picking my car up it took him about 5 minutes to finally help me and no other employee including a service manager seemed to care that he was texting on his phone. I will tell all my friends and family not to ever go there for anything. More
They just rip people off left and right. There price was way too high for the car I was shopping for went elsewhere. I think they should take all that free stuff that they offer away prices would be much lo way too high for the car I was shopping for went elsewhere. I think they should take all that free stuff that they offer away prices would be much lower if they didn't have all the free loaner's, nails done, oil changes, etc... Plus it's just to big of a dealership there's no family feeling to the place like some smaller dealerships make you feel. More
I would enthusiasticly recommend Jim Hite of Jones Toyota to anyone. I had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Hite last week, when I purchased a 2013 Toyota Prius C Three. He was organized, efficient, and will to anyone. I had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Hite last week, when I purchased a 2013 Toyota Prius C Three. He was organized, efficient, and willing to do whatever was needed, within reason, to get the deal done. His cooperative attitude and good cheer were important and appreciated. He was greatly helpful and guided me through the many, many questions I had. He went out of his way to give me suggestions and good advice. For the first time in a VERY long time, I KNEW that I was recieving excellent customer service! Mr. Hite is a great ambassador for Jones Toyota and Toyota in general. More
I would definitely recommend buying from Jim Hite, trustworthy, friendly thorough. Do not recommend participating in the warranties sales pitch with their "financial manager". That was almost enough trustworthy, friendly thorough. Do not recommend participating in the warranties sales pitch with their "financial manager". That was almost enough to get me to walk away from the deal. More
CAR BUYER BEWARE! The staff at this dealership are dishonest and it extends up to their management. Do NOT visit Jones Toyota to purchase your next car. I know this review is long, but please read it dishonest and it extends up to their management. Do NOT visit Jones Toyota to purchase your next car. I know this review is long, but please read it in its entirety to fully comprehend how manipulative and dishonest this company is. I was looking to purchase a RAV4 in a specific color that was extremely difficult to find. I called Jones Toyota, a dealership that is over an hour away from my house. Joe Serio informed me they had the car. He even spoke with his general manager, Tom, and confirmed the car was on the lot. Knowing this specific car was difficult to find, I requested they email me a copy of the invoice for confirmation. The invoice I received was for a car they did not have. Of course, I did not know this at the time. Later, another dealership checked the VIN from the invoice - it was for a car owned by R&H Toyota that was in transit from the port. Joe said they "would pull the car aside for me." He said to ask for Adam Harrow who "would be expecting me." Unknowingly, I drove all the way to the dealership. When I walked in, Adam knew who I was. He said, "We pulled the car around back to begin cleaning it up for you. Unfortunately we let someone test drive it and we haven't seen it since." He then scurried off. Five minutes later, he returned to inform me that "Actually, Joe must have been confused. We sold that car early this morning." However, all of my phone calls and emails were in the late afternoon (and why did you just tell me you pulled it around back?). We were then ushered to the GM, Tom (the one who knew I was coming in). He admitted that he was aware of the situation but was must have been confused. He claimed that he did not realize the car I wanted was sold (the car they never had in the first place). "I'll make you a wonderful deal on the car we do have..." he said as they pulled around the single RAV4 Limited they had on the lot, one that did not match the specs I was looking for. They additionally offered to fill my gas tank since I drove 2 hours round trip for a car that did not exist. Not surprisingly, they did not follow through. In the end, I drove an hour away to purchase my new car elsewhere (Koons Toyota in Westminster, which was wonderful). Jones Toyota deliberately lied to me with hopes of getting me on their lot to purchase a car from them. I had mentioned on the phone that I was looking to buy a car TODAY, so I suppose they assumed I would get to their dealership at 5PM and be forced to purchase a car from them. The fact that even the general manager was involved in this debacle tells me these manipulative and dishonest business practices are acceptable, if not encouraged, at Jones Toyota. More
