Never let them budge you on what your comfortable with as far as a car payment goes. They might ask you what your bringing to the table, start with nothing or they'll take advantage of that money down. They're trying to make money and quotas, always keep that in mind. Once you make it to finance, reread EVERYTHING, none of my numbers matched from what was discussed with the sales rep. More

We visited the dealership on Memorial day and left without purchasing anything, but returned a few days later after Andrew called us to come back and check out another car. We ended up going ahead with this purchase and here's where it gets sticky. Andrew gave us a total price for the car and my husband and I specifically asked if this was the 'on the road' price to which Andrew told us YES. We then moved on to the finance dept...we'd been at the dealership the whole day (we even took advantage of the free manicures they offered) and by the time it was time to sign the deal we realized it was nearly time to meet pick up our kids from school. So, foolishly we rushed to sign the deal without reading every line and left the dealership. However, on closer inspection we realized that the base price, the 'on the road' price Andrew had quoted us was higher on the contract than the figure we were quoted, plus there were some extra charges added on that no-one had told us about. From there it was a back and forth process trying to resolve the issue. We returned to the dealership SEVERAL times. When we asked for copies of documents we had signed we were told they'd gone straight to the bank, when we pushed to get these documents we found out they were in another building...when we confronted Andrew about the original deal price he denied ever having told us that was the 'on the road' price. It basically came down to our word against his. And of course we had already signed the deal. After speaking to a manager we were given $250 worth of Toyota reward points??? Not the most helpful thing as I suspect there are restrictions to what you can use these points on. We were, however, able to remove a purchase for the Dr Jones protection plan which we never agreed to purchasing in the first place but apparently 'everybody gets it....' The whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths. I understand people make mistakes and in his eagerness to make a sale Andrew may have quoted us something that wasn't in fact accurate...but it would have been great for him to just admit to that mistake...and try to meet us halfway with it. Not essentially call us liars about something we KNOW we heard. Let me make it clear, I am not bad mouthing the dealership...the facility is nice, the free manicures are great, the Jones for a Lifetime incentive is very attractive and we did get a good deal. However, we are just kicking ourselves for not covering our backs at every step of the deal...I should have taken pictures, recorded conversations, scrutinized everything. I mean, we're dealing with car salespeople here...it's their job to make money from every deal and sell people things they don't need. I would not deter anyone from visiting this dealership I would just remind them that as a customer it's your right to protect ourselves and question everything. More

We walked in the dealership but no one greeted us immediately, which I like because I don't like when sales people pounce the second you step foot on the lot. After poking at an FR-S they had in the showroom, Kevin, a sales rep approached us and set to finding out what he could do for us. He found the car we wanted. Kevin made us an offer for the car and our trade in that we couldn't refuse and we drove off with a shiny, new, Scion FR-S that night. I would absolutely recommend Jones Toyota-Scion to a friend. It was one of the least dramatic car buying experiences I've ever had. No drama, no pressure. ps. I absolutely LOVE the Scion FR-S. It's a big car in a little car package. Don't let the modest 200bhp fool you. It has plenty of get-up-and-go and more than enough torque to accelerate on a freeway on a hill. I'm driving on freeways and normal roads and I'm averaging 28mpg. And it has a sweet exhaust note. I might get the TRD exhaust at a later date. We'll see. Bottom line, we are very satisfied customers. More

JONES JUNCTION ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS Called jones service dept on the phone. Spoke with a guy regarding doing a price match with wal-mart. Was told there should be no problem. Nothing but problems. Also they kept adding like $15 in charges to the price match. SHOP COST OR WHATEVER. WHAT SHOP COST?? UR PUTTING OIL IN A CAR.... ALL YOU NEED IS A WRENCH. ALSO I EVEN SAID I WOULD TAKE THE OLD OIL WITH ME.... SO I JUST SAID FORGET IT AND JUST TOP OF THE FLUIDS.WHICH IS FREE. PART OF THEIR INSPECTION. WELL LIKE ALMOST 2 HOURS LATER. WHAT DO YOU KNOW.
