Michelle Goodhue was excellent. She was responsive, knowledgeable, and when the car arrived she took the time to show me how to use all of the features and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. She knowledgeable, and when the car arrived she took the time to show me how to use all of the features and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. She even followed-up by phone the next day to be sure I was pleased with the car and to see if I had any questions. I'll be seeing her again Monday for the inspection, and she offered to show me one of the features of the car while I am there. She was brand new to the dealership when I purchased my car, but you would never know it. She has done her research on all of the vehicles she is selling. If there was ever something she didn't have the answer to, she would find it and promptly respond to me. She was also very personable, and not "sales-y" at all. There should be more salespeople like Michelle. More
Great dealership, I live in Haverhill and I deal exclusively with Jaffarians. The employees are friendly and very informative about the products they are selling. I am a toyota family, four toyotas, exclusively with Jaffarians. The employees are friendly and very informative about the products they are selling. I am a toyota family, four toyotas, a Rav4, 2 Corollas and an Avalon. Jaffarian has been good to us, all service is excellent, including their collision center. My saleman, Tim Little was very pleasant and friendly, everything was taken care of by him, all I had to do is pick-up the car. It is definitely drive in and drive out. I would and I have recommended this dealership to other people. More

The email I originally got I got thanking me for my purchase said the wrong type of vehicle I bought. I bought a Toyota Camry and it said I bought a Venza. Also don't like that you have to pay for a purchase said the wrong type of vehicle I bought. I bought a Toyota Camry and it said I bought a Venza. Also don't like that you have to pay for a vechile before you even get it. I came in on Saturday 1-1-11 and my 1st pmt is 1-31-11 with my car not being delivered 1-7-10. More

I made a very poor decision this last week in going to Jaffarian Toyota for 90,000 mile service. I used to be a regular customer of Jaffarian Toyota when I owned a Toyota Celica but stopped going there o Jaffarian Toyota for 90,000 mile service. I used to be a regular customer of Jaffarian Toyota when I owned a Toyota Celica but stopped going there over 5 years ago after 2 very poor experiences with their service department. The first was a simple rear windshield washer issue while the car was still under warranty. The washer was shooting out over the car and never hitting the windshield. When I brought it to the service dept, the service rep told me it was functioning as "engineered" and there was nothing to do. I asked to speak to a manager as wiper fluid shooting on the back of the vehicle and never hitting the windshield doesn't seem to be how Toyota engineers their windshield washers. I was told a manager was not available at that time so I had to go home and call back. I had to go down again and the service manager agreed the part was defective and after close to 3 hours of waiting, had the part replaced. This one was engineered differently as it worked. I returned there for a simple oil change which I scheduled for 9am. After two hours of waiting, the service rep Brad who I imagine is no longer there told me having an appointment set a week ahead for 9am doesn't mean that I am going to get in at that time or close to it and that there were several walk ins ahead of me. An hour later, now 3 hours into the 9am oil change, when I asked again, Brad rudely told me that the technician was topping off the fluids and it would be ready shortly. Another half hour and I finally got my car back. I wished I had just gone to Jiffy Lube. The next day after it snowed when driving home in the dark and rush hour traffic on 128, I ran out of windshield wiper fluid. I had barely used it and according to Brad, the technician was busy topping off all my fluids for a half an hour which is included in the oil change. I was stranded on the side of 128 for almost 2 hours in the dark waiting for my husband to bring me windshield wiper fluid. I almost ran out of gas running the car so I would have heat. Thank you Jaffarian!. I wrote a letter to Mr. Jaffarian describing my terrible experience and was offered a free oil change when I came back. I was not going to go through that experience again so I started going to IRA Toyota in Danvers becuase I worked in Danvers at the time. I have always had exceptional service at IRA Toyota. They are very courteous, complete, customer service oriented, and willing to go the extra mile. They are on time too!. I no longer work in Danvers and decided after over 5 years to give Jaffarian another chance due to location and accessibility. I went in on 12/21 for 90,000 mile service on my Toyota Rav 4. I have had every service done on time and at a dealership when needed. $500 later ($70 to replace 2 side lightbulbs and a plate bulb included)and a 3.5 hour wait it was done. I was told it would take approximately 2 hours so I waited for it and thought I'd be back to work for most of the day. Not the case, it took 3.5 hours and their service offering that you get a loaner vehicle with any major service (30,60 or 90,000 mile service) was not really working either. No available loaners so I sat there and waited the full time. The first time I drove the vehicle on the highway, I hear a loud noise as though I have no muffler. Coincidentally the exhaust system had a problem and the whole pipe had come off and was hanging unconnected. I made it home without the whole exhaust pipe falling off and called Jaffarian. Brendan took my call who was less than caring and told me to bring it back and leave it with him for the day. I had to remind him several times that I had just had the 90,000 mile service done there, they gave my vehicle a complete bill of health and the exhaust system was checked off all green on the inspection sheet with no corrosion, no leaks, and no future work needed. All of those were indicated. Suddenly, it's fallen off. After a great deal of haggling, Brendan told me to bring it in at 7:30am which I did and there was no appointment or notes in the system that I called so I started over again. One hour later, I was told my exhaust pipe was all rotten out and had to be replaced at $380. When I asked how that could be when they just checked off that it was in good condition with no corrosion, problems or work needed, I was told it must have happened in the few days since I was in. I also asked why my windshield wipers were checked off as working and in good condition when the back one was not working and the rubber all torn off when I took it in. Oh, that was missed in the inspection as well. I paid full price for a service that didn't get done. I am now wondering what was and wasn't done just like I did at the oil change over 5 years ago. I had to pay Jaffarian to replace the exhaust pipe just days after my 90,000 mile service. Sounds like this was not just coincidence at all. Had they told me the exhaust pipe was in poor condition and rotting like they told me just a few days after, they know I would have probably gone to Midas and gotten the work done for a lot less than $400 or maybe they didn't inspect it all or maybe they touched it or didn't connect something correctly that caused it to fall. In any case, I have no confidence in the work that was done or that I actually got a complete 90,000 mile service and inspection. I am taking my vehicle to IRA Toyota now to have it all checked and find out what the truth is as I am not getting the truth from Jaffarian. I am out $1,000 that I paid them though for very questionable service. I am never going back to Jaffarian again. I would like to point out that Charles Schofield was patient and listened to my concerns but I got no information to confirm why this happened or what was and wasn't done when I brought my car in for $500 90,000 mile service. I am very happy with the purchase of the C70!! The price was very competitive and the staff were very easy to work with. There were only two things that would have made the experience better. First I was was very competitive and the staff were very easy to work with. There were only two things that would have made the experience better. First I was a little surprised to find that the car had 55 miles on it versus the 15 that was listed on the title. I am not sure why this is. Secondly the Satellite radio was not activated. This is not a big deal since I can do it myself raltively quickly. The mileage thing was a bit disturbing. More
We worked with Tim Little, who did a fabulous job helping us to make this transaction successful during one of the busiest times of the years for us (holidays). He turned a very bad customer service situatio us to make this transaction successful during one of the busiest times of the years for us (holidays). He turned a very bad customer service situation into a successful one. He was attentive, extremely customer conscious, very fair minded in his advice concerning the car options – someone I would definitely trust again to help me find the best car for my needs. In fact, Tim even personally delivered the car to me at work to save me the time and hassle of needing to return to the dealership. Unfortunately, the business manager we dealt with was not as accommodating or innovative in finding customer-centric solutions to an unreasonably long wait to complete paperwork the evening prior. His response to the frustration with the long delay (1.5 hours) waiting for the final paperwork to be initiated was that he is just one person. What would have been more helpful to a systems/process issue like this is to look at how the dealership can avoid having customers wait unnecessarily for paperwork. As we waited for the business manager, 5 other staff wandered the dealership with little or nothing to do. I’m sure that we are not the first customers who had to waste our valuable time with so much else to do during the busy holiday season just waiting for paperwork that should have taken 15 minutes. My wife picked up her new Toyota Camry LE at Jaffarian's today (12/15/10). The entire experience was as positive as could be, owing largely to the excellent treatment we received both from the salesmen - today (12/15/10). The entire experience was as positive as could be, owing largely to the excellent treatment we received both from the salesmen - Jose Lopez and Michael Kemp - and from the sales managers - Sarkis Shamshoyan and Jonathan Russo. We were treated with friendly respect and patience in answering our questions and accompanying us on multiple test drives of different models. We did not feel undue pressure to make a decision or to choose a model different from our preference. More
