I have owned Volvo’s since 1984. Within the last six months my 2000 S80 T6 with 238,000 miles has required a number of repairs prompting me to look for a newer vehicle. So after having my existing Volvo serviced I opted to head up to the showroom. I looked at the available models and features. Not sure how I wished to proceed. Louis introduced himself and brought me up to speed on the Volvo models. He patiently listened and we spend most of the afternoon going through Models and financing options. During this process I never felt pressured to purchase. After meeting my price range we concluded the deal and I left the same day with my new car. As it turns out I stayed with the S80 family. He has exceeded our expectations even after the sale. We had a great customer experience with Jaffarian, they tell you continuously that they want to make sure you are happy and they follow through with that at every turn. Had to wait more than an hour to get service after scheduling an appointment to sign papers. Car was not fully functioning when we came to pick it up (again a scheduled appointment) and had to wait f scheduling an appointment to sign papers. Car was not fully functioning when we came to pick it up (again a scheduled appointment) and had to wait for the problem to be resolved (this should have been dealt with prior to our arrival). The car did not have a full tank of gas as promised in the P&S agreement and my husband had to point this our to make sure this was taken care of prior to our departure. We realized on the way home with our new car that it was lacking an inspection sticker, which we had arranged for and paid for in advance to avoid the inconvenience of having to spend additional time getting the car on the road. While the excuse was that the machine was broken so it could not be completed, this should have been explained at the time of pick-up with a reimbursement check ready, rather than us discovering it after-the-fact(fortunately before being pulled over!). While we appreciated being able to pick up the car on a Sunday, necessary due to work and prior engagements, and that this was an exception to standard practice, this was arranged a week in advance and no surprise to anyone so these issues should have never come up.
